You could almost call it a "Koch fight."

Well said. As a hophead myself, I've moved away from store purchases and have gone mostly to growlers in the interest of freshness. Stone is maybe the only brewery of whom I'll still try their new hoppy stuff in the bottle, nearly every time. They are definitely the only bottling brewery (in my region) that excites me with news of their upcoming hoppy beers. I think that's largely due to the fact that they continue to be adventurous, pay great attention and detail to product freshness (huge for hopheads), and clearly see their (mostly hoppy) beers as more than a product. I never really get the feeling of someone at Stone saying "I bet we'd make a killing if..." but instead more of a "people gotta taste this shit!" It's clear they make what they like, but still listen to what people want. And Greg, if you are reading, I want some goddamn Dayman already! Cheers!

I gave up on Enjoy By a long time ago, but I'll gladly give this one a shot.

I wonder how many confused photography/Instagram aficionados we’ll get since Stone is promoting via #nofilter on social media and right on the bottle?

Definitely going to try this, I love Enjoy By, and I am curious as to how different an unfiltered version will be.

You're not missing much in my opinion, nowhere near as good as SSR.

Stone are marketing geniuses. Small wonder they are one of the most successful craft breweries.

I doubt Greg is making moves with SA in mind. Jim should bow before Greg, and politely.

Hazy is lazy. I'm tired of drinking snow in a bottle. Cold crash the nectar fellas and rack it. You can still call it unfiltered and I get to enjoy looking at the beer as much as tasting it. Never been a fan of Stone. I can make 5 gallons for the price of their 12 pack.

I don't think beer should ever be filtered as much as it is most of the time. Unfiltered beer is almost always more flavorful and it just looks awesome. Can't wait to try this!

You think their beer is expensive? They've always been pretty competitive. Ballast Point on the other hand...

    Can't wait for this.

I just wish that Stone would increase output. Two years ago i had absolutely no issue finding enjoy by. In the past 15 months however it's gotten very difficult to find in NY, PA and NJ. Seems like the distributors are hoarding it for some reason.

A year ago finding regular enjoy by was somewhat hard. Now I gotta chase after 3 ahhhhhhhh! At least they are gonna do this in 6 packs from the get go. Wish they would have with the black.

Hey hey, that's what we need, a ballast point and Stone collaboration, "put your money where your mouth is ipa"

How about just 6 pack release sorry not sorry and be done with it.

I bet this isn't as hazy as people here are thinking it will be. Unfiltered beer can and should be clear (and it often is- biofine is becoming a popular precipitant these days, and brewers can bypass DE by using it). Hazy isn't all it's cracked up to be, and the proteins and yeast will adversely effect the beer- which is still important, isn't it?!! Anyway, I bet Mitch does it correctly.
