Meijer Bolingbrook off 355 will be doing 2 bottle per person starting at 8, should go pretty fast.

 

With 600 bottles, I'd put bets on it being there past 10:00

 

I had it on tap at Fulton St. on Sunday as well as FOBAB and thought it was pretty good. It's a little too sweet and I question whether that will mellow out after a year or so. Right now it would be a good dessert beer.

 

I just called the boughton Meijer and they talked to me like I was ******ed and said they do not have bourbon county stout. I was just wondering if they are getting any variants as I head home that way from work.

 

And this is the exact reason why selling something like this to mass retailers sucks for interested consumers. If this was a liquor store at least they'd know what you are talking about instead of asking if it's a type of whisky you're looking for. Tomorrow you'll call back and they'll tell you it's sold out.

 

They've got it, line starts up front and starts selling at 8. $9.99, 2 per person, regular BCBS only.

 

Considering people waited 15 hours overnight in the rain at LP Binnys for a 14' props, spending 40 bucks more for it on the spot seems very reasonable.

 

I felt so too. Didnt buy one, but passed it along for anyone who may have been looking for one.

 

You should call your local Meijer if you plan on going.

The one I go to said it will be available at 6 AM with a limit of 2 on Thursday.

Last year Mariano's let buy a case if I wanted. This year limit 1 bottler per person..

 

+1 on this, even though you never know depending on who you speak with. Meijer on Rt 59 in Plainfield told me tonight they didn't have their shipment and would either get it Friday or next Tuesday. But, it will be on the floor right after they receive it.

This place sucks, I learned a while ago to not bother when they were selling 2 month old Zombie Dust for something like $5 ea.
