Original, although I do love The Advantage. I remember almost going to see them live in Philly back in the day when I was in college.

Saw them in Grand Rapids many years ago, they put on a great show. They had a NES Blaster Master set up on a big screen which you could play while they played their set.

If we could get an awesome beer event at one of the arcades around town, that would be sweet.

There was a great bottle share at games n at the night before voodoo/gratitude releases last year. Although I don't think anyone ventured into the arcade...it was rapid bottle cracking...

That was a great share, but way too many bottles too fast. Also, someone call uber for @kbuzz if it happens again. I'll even pay for it.

Hey BA squad - With the end of the year fast approaching, we figured it was a good time to pop back in and share a couple of new things that we’ve got going on at the brewery.

New Beer Page - We’ve completely revised the beer page on our website. We wanted our own database where people could find the information they need about each beer. This is version 1.0 and we’ll constantly be adding to it and improving upon it.

New General Braddock’s IPA - A lot of people tried GB back in June of 2014 and haven’t tried any future iterations. This beer has been evolving since. With this new batch, we’re proud to say we’ve found a new baseline. It’s hopped with Simcoe, Centennial, Chinook, and Citra. We’ve got a mural of this brand on the side of our building - we believe this should be one of our best offerings. We’ll continue to dial it in, but we encourage you to try the newest model.

Haze - We recently published a blog post entitled An Ode to Haze. If you’re interested in our thoughts on why we love hazy beers, give it a read.

New Beers - On top of the re-release of General Braddock’s, we’ve also made our maiden voyage into the world of lagers. Stoop Kid is a pale lager, meant to be a true drinking beer. Next week, we’ll be releasing our winter seasonal, Mammoth, brewed as a rival to Akamai. It’s a 8.5% ABV Double IPA hopped with Mosaic, Citra, Chinook, and Simcoe. We’re also releasing Bird Person, an American Amber Ale hopped with Falconer’s Flight.

On deck we’ve got a session coffee milk stout (full batch of the Prototype we made a while back), a pale ale (Equinox, Azzaca, Columbus), a wheat IPA (Centennial), and a bottle-only saison.

Bottles - We’re releasing bottles of both Mosaic Saison and Homegrown Saison next Wednesday. We’re trying to bottle more and have had a lot of fun with these beers. Moving forward, we will no longer be releasing clean versions of Farmhouse/Saison style beers; these beers will be mixed culture fermentations.

There you have it. Straight from the horse’s mouth. Happy Thursday.

Ack, was going to do a beer update of our own today! Scooped by BGBC.

    Anyway, I'll keep ours short-ish.

We have a few beers making their way through our cellars at the moment using The Yeast Bay - Wallonian Farmhouse yeast. This is a first for us to mess around with so we had some fun with it.

Scott Rudich, brewer and founder of Round Guys Brewing Co. in Lansdale, PA joined us for the first one in late October. Red Alert is a red saison brewed with 100% Best Malz Red X malt, a new product to us as well, this beer used lots of fresh ginger and some dried lemon peel in the kettle.

The next is an as of yet unnamed dark farmhouse brewed with White Peppercorns, Coriander, and Bitter Orange Peel. This one should hit the taps after this weekend once a beer kicks and it gets a name.

The last use of the Wallonian yeast won't show up for a while, but has been given a working title of Pirate Beer. We'll have more updates when it is ready.

Outside of Belgian yeast stuffs, we just put on Sour Quad, a barrel aged sour version of our Cherry Quad, strong and tart, it is my favorite beer going right now.

Also our Sour Date, sour Imperial Stout barrel aged on dates is still around for a little while longer. This one is far more tart than the quad

We're on the last week of Pumpkin Stout if anyone wasn't already burned out on pumpkin pie spice 3 months ago. That will make way for Coffee Rye Stout with Monsooned Malabar coffee from Nicholas Coffee Co.

That sounds awesome! We don't play as many 4 hour games as I'd like. People are always showing up at different times, so it makes longer games tough - 1-2 people would inevitably end up showing up midway through and have to just wait for several hours.

Hero's Quest was sweet. Haven't played since I was a kid though. I wonder if it held up. Unfortunately, they don't make it anymore, and used copies are like $100+ when they show up on eBay.

@london1o1 What do you mean no 4-hour games? Pretty sure we've done 4-hours of Tsuro of the Seas 10 minutes at a time.

Randy's master plan to get all the rare beer. Misinformation!!! There's no abyss in January and founders discontinued Kbs.

    Brilliant!

Going to sit out the BCBS madness at Hal's tonight and instead choose to stroll over to Shadyside tomorrow for a BA Yeti.
