Meijer on Weber still had plenty of regular at 6:30.

Meijer in Algonquin still had over a case as of 8:30 tonight. 2 bottle limit. Thanks to whoever posted that earlier. Wasn't planning on getting any this year but that was almost too easy.

Talked to some employees at Whole Foods on Halsted today. They will have every variant at 8am. First 12 people could get rare.
You can get 2 regular and 2 (or just one, I forgot) of variants.

Did he verify they will have Rare? I'm hearing only a couple are getting it.

Yes. He said first 12 people could get it. So I'm assuming they'll get only 12 bottles.

I'm talking about Whole Foods in Lakeview

Hindale WF told me 8 bottles of rare. Willowbrook told me zero rare. Funny thing is hinsdale told me Willowbrook had the largest allocation in western burbs of all WF stores.

I'm not sure any of these guys knows what the heck they are talking about. Perhaps they are figuring in employee allocations as well. My WF said they did not have Rare and one case of each varient. On Sunday they said they were getting 2 cases of each including Rare. He also said tonight that only one suburban store (not Hinsdale or Willowbrook) and one city store would have Rare. I think tomorrow is my last day with this silliness. I still need a Rare and Coffee. The problem is given the chance to buy Prop again vs. Coffee, I'd buy another Prop. #disposableincomeproblems

Just passing along what they told me tonight. Wouldn't be surprised if that info is inaccurate. I'm not lining up tonight, got my allotment at Binny's and that's enough for me.
Hinsdale was specific stating only 8 rare bottles for customers.

Bottom line is anyone trying to land a rare needs to get in line right now.

Curious if anyone is at the Deerfirld Binnys? I can't go but curious if they end up with variants and how much of each. Thanks!

6:45 was about 40 people back. guy in front said he lined up at 2:30AM. I wanted to try and get a variant this year but 6 regular and 1 BW looks like all I'm going to get with people camping out at 2AM on workdays.

I got to WF on Halsted super early (couldn't sleep) so I ended up being first in line for several hours. By the time they opened at 8PM there were approximately 50 people lined up. Free coffee given out at 730AM. One case of Rare. Each person could take Rare + 2 varietals of their choice + 2 regular as the standard allocation for a total of 5 bottles max.

My friend was one of those guys who lined up "bookoo early" at the Naperville WF (5:15am to be exact). He's retired so the "workdays" don't apply to him anymore (must be nice, I know). He said the first 24 people all got 2 variants and the first 6 people (himself included) all took 2 Props each. Very surprised they let you double up on variants seeing as they had a very small amount to begin with. I'm convinced the "geniuses" over at the WF in Naperville are incapable of running a successful BCBS release. I was burned by them once in 2013 when Prop first came out and they allocated over half of their variants to employees and left the majority of the people that were waiting with nothing except regular.

Yeah its cool and all that people who are retired can wait out and get whatever they want, just a bit annoying to see so many people out on workdays for literally any beer release ever. If something comes out at 10AM on a work day you can bet there will be people at binnys waiting. Allowing 2 of any variant is just annoying.

Yeah that's interesting....but a little reassuring that 5.15AM was still good to get any variant you wanted. Also surprised they let folks take 2 of the same variant....you'd think they would have that of that ahead of time.

I was going to stop tonight, glad I saw this. Sometimes you can find good shit there, but he likes to gauge the hell out of limited releases.
