Some quasi-beer mail. BLiS is the company that oak ages their syrups and sends the spent barrels to Founders for CBS. The larger bottles are a 10th anniversary blend that spends 18 months in 24yr whiskey barrels then smoked and the middle one is their base syrup infused with tahitian vanilla beans
Received my round 2 box from @sembo, and oh boy, it's a good one! The cans: Dangerous Man Peanut Butter Porter and Chocolate Milk Stout - Love the smaller crowlers, everything in my area is 32 oz. These also sound yummy, won't last long. Surly Abrasive & Furious - Permawants, always a welcome sight. Bent Paddle Bent Hop & Cold Press Black - Both wants, I've always wanted to try the cold press. Schwag: Surly Beanie & Opener - Sweet, both of these will be put to good use. Dangerous Man T-Shirt/Glass/Sticker - Awesome, love their logo. Sweet glass, t-shirt is only an XL and I'm a XXL but I tried it on and it's not that far off. Love this shirt so maybe that can be some weight loss motivation. Bootles: Bent Paddle BA Double Black - A want, love BA stuff. TG Light Speed - Yet another want, awesome! BCBS - Very few bottles in my area, that and a sick toddler on black Friday means I got 0 bottles, now I have one! White Birch Rusalka - Obscure want, 2013 bottle, love RIS's. Glad you liked it! I had a bunch of your "wants" that I could hit, so it was tough narrowing it down. Like the Ruskala, there were a few that were non local but in my distro that I could hit, so I hit what I thought was the most obscure. I'll be interested to hear how you like it, since I haven't tried it yet. Re: the size of the crowlers - I thought these were 32 oz? I calculated them that way in doing my oz (I went over, oops), but maybe they are 26.4 since MN breweries are only able to fill 750 mls and 64 oz growlers. Like I mentioned, bought and sent the shirt before I knew what size you were. If it doesn't fit, I would be happy to have you re gift it and I'll send some more swag your way. Happy drinking!
Boxes for round 2 are looking pretty badass so far. That TG Light Speed is the dankest, most straight up fresh nuggs of weed smelling beer I've ever had.
