I lift three times a week, changing that to four, and gonna start doing cardio five times a week instead of my usual three. Hoping to cut back on the drinking to every other weekend.

    This can't be life.

When I played softball and volleyball, we always went out afterward for pitchers of whatever. I don't play sports much anymore, but I'm still drinking the beer.

I do cardio 30-40 minutes every day, enough to get a drenching sweat, lift every day I'm not traveling, and do crunches every day.

This is to prevent weighing in at roughly 700 lbs after satisfying my beer nerdery.

Alcohol is a depressant and constricts the blood vessels. Not good to drink and exercise.

The fact that the poll results show that 75% of responders exercise 4-7 times per week is surprising. You sure you guys aren't counting lateral bicep curls (drinking a beer motion)? Lol...

I lift once a week at home (sunday) and always have several brews as I do. It's a fun couple hours for me. I also do body weight exercises another day when I can fit it in ( a sober endeavor ). Additionally
I always have a brew or two after my very physically active workday.

After a serious workout that ends later than expected I must say that a single bottle of an oatmeal stout and a nice spinach salad is literally like having a huge instant acting vitamin. Try it sometime....you'll be surprised.

When I'm not traveling for business I work out for 90 - 120 minutes every morning, both cardio and weight training and I drink almost every night. I try to keep the food-based carbs low so I can enjoy my carbs in liquid form. When I'm on the road I usually stick to just an hour of cardio each morning.

Took 75 pounds off about five+ years ago and have managed to keep it off thus far...

I have my cellared beers in sight of the treadmill so I know what I am working for.
Also found that knowing I am having a beer or two a night keeps me from snacking because I know to save calories.

Cyclist. From March-October I'll do anywhere from 170-300 miles/week. These days I get on the road when I can and get in at least 3 high intensity trainer sessions, with a moderate day or two thrown in. Cycling and beer have always gone hand in hand.

Between all the beer and duck fat I should really be lifting again. But I fell off hard after fracturing my arm earlier this year.
