For me it is Coors golden. I haven't visited out of the rabbit hole for a while.

I honestly thought this was a thread about which beer got you hard(blue pill) HAHA! And I would respond with: Abraxas. Instant boner. Since this was a Matrix reference, I would have to say I go with the proverbial bad guy and drink Budweiser. More flavor than all the other lighter beers out there.

It's Blue Moon or Modelo Especial with a lime in the bottle. Everywhere has it in bottle and almost everywhere has Blue Moon on tap, but it doesn't matter since the difference between tap and bottle is so minimalistic with them. It's my go to when I'm on a porch and gross after working during the summer or I there are no craft offerings (Sam Adams doesn't count).

Mickey's, Coors Light, Yuengling and Steel Reserve....occasionally there's a few Miller High Life's thrown in too. While I like "Intense" beers, I snap back to my roots when I see these brews I used to enjoy before I found this Wallet Drainer Hobby.

Fat Tire. I used to buy cases of it, and that's all I drank for a year or two in there.

I clicked on this thread thinking it was going to be about which beer is your go to replacement for Viagra. Oh, the disappointment. :slight_frown:

Sounds like your Bud Light was your red pill. I have found that after getting into craft beer, people go crazy like its a chile pepper eating contest. After a while they come back to reality and begin looking for balance and structure in their beer.

Growing in up in California I thought Sierra Nevada was standard beer as it was available everywhere and was affordable even on a college beer budget so I suppose this was my blue pill beer even though I now know that Sierra Nevada was a decade ahead of its time. I than moved to Stone the Red Pill based on the your not worthy campaign.

Yuengling. Grew up in Maryland so it was cheap and very easy to find. I'll still drink it if I'm BBQing or doing work around the house or watching FB.
