Anyone else having difficulty finding this beer? It used to be everywhere but for the last two years, we got 4 cases at the local bottle shop and that's it... No second shipments or anything... What gives? Is it just my particular area or are others noticing a decrease as well? Just curious...

I can not speak for TN. This brew has been flowing by the Cases here. Your shop might be going by the revenue on Sierra Nevada's purchases. They might feel it's not a "High Purchase" item. You want some more I can get you some.

I bought a 12 pack maybe 3 weeks ago. Went back a few days later and it was all gone. Stopped in today and there was a wall of it. Got a case. Interestingly, this batch is slightly more bitter and less malty. Still quite delicious, at any rate. Hope you find some!!

We have plenty here. I look forward to this beer every year, I even home brew a clone recipe of it. I didn't care for last years so much but I will have to give it another try this year.

Celebration is not hard to find here in north/central NJ. It does sell out faster than it used to however. Last year it was GWTW before the Super Bowl.

It's everywhere here (as is the norm for SN's beer in this area)

And it's best straight from the bottle when you do find it!

Wow. I just realized how long it's been since I've drank a beer straight from the bottle. I'm getting too hoity-toity :grinning: I'm going for it, right after dinner.

AND the third release (11/9) is even better! Huge creamy head, nice spicy bite with no harshness on the back end, which the first two (10/7 and 10/22, IIRC) had a bit of. I can't remember offhand who said it, but they usually seem to get it dialed in on the third go 'round. Stock up when and if you find it.

OP: Maybe forget the bottle shop and check out the grocery stores-Food Lion has had it since Halloween in abundance. Same advice, look for the 11/9 package date. Happy hunting

It's at every (5) grocery store in NYC that I've been to in the last 2 weeks.

Very easy to find here this year.

No decrease here. I still see it in abundance.

Plenty available in the Chicago area right now, though I will say I've noticed it's availability period has shrunk over the years. Probably due to the fact it's so damn good.

Might think about deciding how many cases you want and asking someone to order it for you. Lots of different beers are easier to get a hold of when your retailer knows they've got a customer who will pay for it.

For example, January is the start of Troeg's Nugget Nectar season I'll soon be talking to my beer guy about getting me some. Six years I've advance ordered. Six years he's gotten me the beer. Doesn't even ask for a deposit since he knows I'll be in to pick it up a day or so after he lets me know it's been delivered.

I cannot imagine that your local distributor is not ordering much. It has to be available.

Cases stacked high here in CT. It is funny that you posted this thread. I was contemplating posting a thread about leftover Celebration. One place here has 2014 Celebration. I imagine this doesn't age well?

It's decent. I dunno about a year though. Seeing that it's sn I'll probobly hold a bottle or two up to 6-7 months
