Bourbon County thread (NJ PA NY)

Any BC purchase allows you into the raffle...but you have to be able to pick it up by 8 tonight. Winners will be called at 6.

 

I know 5 shops in Nassau that got a case each.

 

Spotted 4 bottles of coffee at a random grocery in park slope, Mr. Lime. $13, no apparent limit.

 

A bit of a devastating situation happened at ABC today.

The first 12 people should have been guaranteed their allotment. Well a guy in line who was one of the first 12 had his lady join him with his kid much later in the game (his lady was going to get a coffee and food it looked like while he looked after his daughter while he held her and sang to her). After the store opened, the clerk in the store did not know his lady had joined late and the guy in line was able to quietly con the guy into selling his lady an allotment and so the 12th guy in line, who had counted himself all along, lost out. This guy did not realize this until after it was too late. He was visibly upset and said, "But I was 12th! People suck." Felt very bad for him and that guy in line had to of known his lady should not have been entitled to an allotment. Very shady. But I guess I can't say it's surprising.

 

That's fucked up. I hope someone figures out who he is and calls him out.

 

Sad. Also so easy to avoid - if it is that limited give out numbers to the line!!!!!!!!!!

 

Sigh wtf. The other 11 should have called him out, this is NYC after all. Where was this lady when we needed her?!

 

That's kinda bullshit, I was actually surprised how few people went. I got there a little before 11am expecting a shitshow and the line was longer at the bagel store, I thought I was at the wrong place. What is kinda shitty is that if you win the Rare lottery there, you have to pick it up in 2 hours.

that sucks. which store? I saw a guy and probably wife end bar at Broadway. I was one of the 1st. got there slightly before the line filled. the regal growlers was cool. and cheaper than the bottles. I got 1st. surprised nobody caught on. but they don't counter pressure . only drawback. I just got a 32 oz. debated 2 if they did. guy by me got the 64 ozer. merry frickin' christmas!

 

BW And reg @ City Swiggers, 15.49 for the BW, any other confirmed BW sightings today in the city?

Are you thinking of the milk and hops event? They're affiliated with Bier and Cheese. Saw on Instagram that AB botched the delivery of the variants and they won't arrive in time.
