So, I guess nobody cares about this one? Which is fine by me. I'll drink it all

Christmas Ale aged in Sauvingnon Blanc wine barrels with tart cherries and three strands of Brett. BB 2 was great, and the few isolated barrels they had of Brett was fantastic. Can't wait for this tomorrow (Dec 7th).

Think I can find it in Austin this Wednesday or after? I'm intrigued.

I am in Houston, and like all Saint Arnold seems to have a larger following than in other cities. As it should here. I think it sticks around longer outside Houston. Like the other Bishop's Barrel releases this is bar accounts only (or at least that is what Saint Arnold wants). I am sure places like Craft Pride will have, and to go as well. Not sure about the timing, but would not be surprised if they had it this week.

Thanks. I'll look for it in at the bars in Austin.

@champ103 do you know how they are releasing this one? Is it like the others where it can only be purchased at a bar/restaurant?

Again, with all Bishop's Barrel releases, bottles are available only at bars and restaurants. Keep up with the hashtag #BB12 on Twitter to find it in your area.

I've seen tweets about sightings at Flying Saucer Houston, Liberty Station, Hay Merchant, The Springbok, Mo's Irish Pub, Saucer Sugar Land, Barry's Pizza and J. Henry's Daught House.

This sounds like a parody of a beer. Nothing about it doesn't sound absolutely disgusting. Why would they even make this?

I am very much a traditionalist, and can't stand gimmicks. Though this is really well made. Really, it wasn't all that uncommon for Old Ales to have a touch a Brett and be fairly tart as well. So this is not all that off the wall.

    Trolls gonna troll, y'all.

For the record, #BB12 is utterly delicious. My favorite BB release yet. I love Brett beers and I love wine-barrel-aged beers, but I'm also very picky about them, so this needed to clear a pretty high bar for me -- it did so, easily.

Yeah after having it last night, I'm ISO two bottles at least. Hit me up if you managed to pick up extras to go.

The beer was absolutely delicious. Nice cherry and wine, lovely Brett hints. I think this is an easy home run.

Beer sounds lovely, glad to hear great reviews.

Not going to go out of my way to find it though. Enough has been said about the distro-philosophy about these beers that i don't need to harp on it. Maybe I'll find a bottle on a shelf in Florida when I vacation over there after christmas (sorry... had to stir the pot...)

ZAX seems to hang on to bottles for a while after a release. You should be able to find a bottle in town but it will most likely only be available for on premise consumption.
