Definitely going to their 2nd release of bottles. I was wondering if anyone went last time; was there a long line that formed prior to them opening? Just wondering what to expect and plan for.

Yes, there was a long line that opened prior to them opening. Some crazy people showed up really early but for the most part you were good showing up an hour before opening. It will be kind of hard to predict timing this release though, since they are opening at 2pm instead of 10am (or maybe 11?) like the last. Hopefully people show up a little later instead of spending 8 hours in line.

I would bet you're going to see people lined up just as early since there's only 300 of one bottle.

Thanks, that's was very helpful. I'll probably shoot for an hour ahead of time then

That's what I feared. I really want that bottle, as does everyone else!

Any feedback on bottles from the initial release a few weeks back?

Thought they were good for what they are, just boring styles. A plain Berliner and a session Saison, good base beers but ultimately just that.

Yeah, that's why I skipped the original release. I figured the styles they really want to make are going to take more time to develop

    Agreed with this.

I'm a big Beachwood fan, but I'm glad I didn't wait in line for the first release. I was disappointed in the bottles. To me they were a bit green and not ready for prime time. I tried 002 just a few days ago for the second time and it was very sulfuric and not pleasant to drink at all. I'm hoping they improve but so far nothing to go crazy over.

With the last release, I showed up around 1h-45min early and it took about an hour to get pours in the tasting room once they opened. They did give out tickets in line to guarantee your bottles and if you only wanted bottles they had a separate line to pick them up.

Both beers were good for their respective styles.
