I recently moved to the Cincy area from Chicago and I am trying to find the best places to pick up some good stuff. What I've found is that it seems like the best finds in the area are often small gems that not very many people probably even know exist - aside from the ones that I have heard a lot about (Rivers Bend, Dutch's, Dilly Deli, Party Source, Jungle Jims).

    Anybody have any recommendations?

Hyde Park Wine and Spirits isn't bad. I like Party Town in Florence, too.

Living in northern Kentucky it's always Party Source or Party Town for me. Jungle Jim's is quite good as well.

I ran across a place last night that had a great selection but looked tiny and not promising from the outside. It was called the Root Cellar. This was the epitome of what I was talking about when I said "small gems that not very many people probably even know exist". I found a bottle of JP Biere De Mars just sitting on the shelf. Snagged the last one.

Drive an hour up to Belmont Party Supply in Dayton. You'll be glad you did.

    Tell'em Max sent ya.

My wife was working in Dayton last week and she stopped in - said I would be "like a kid in a candy store". I'm gonna have to get up there.. Google Maps says only 50 mins from South Lebanon
