So some damn local has struck again. I mention how I would like to try some Council brews when I saw someone's VBS on here next thing I know @campa86 is sending me a BM setting up a preliminary open ended trade that we agreed would go down sometime in February. Next thing I know this shows up on my doorstep! Dude, you really aren't safe making any comments around this crowd are you?

Council Brewing Co - Beatitude Tart Saison in Three Berry, Blueberry, Raspberry, Apricot and Mosaic Dry Hopped!
And if that wasn't enough then he had to throw in Almanac Beer Co Simcoe Sour (sounds awesome!).

Finally caught up. My laptop charger shit the bed last week and i refused to spend 70$ on a universal laptop charger that has 7 different tips. So i hit up amazon for a charger 8 bucks shipped. so now im back in action.

 

#VBS - After a long wait, it's finally here...

 

Random question for the group - I'm hoping to get some trade advice/a gauge on value for a viper pit trade. I've been wanting to try prairie noir and some of the variants and was lucky enough to score a few bottles of BA Darkness. Putting up my BA Darkness, what noirs/how many do you think I could fairly ask for in return?

 

Well I am looking for BA Darkness so just send it my way or lets work a trade

 

1) Someone in here can likely help you out
2) I would think maybe 3-4 per Darkness? Maybe I'm off, but that seems right to me.

 

Skip the viper pit. You came to the right place.

 

Agree with Reid. Just watch out for the older batches of Noir and the variants, they're notorious for having infection issues.

I think praerie is overrated too, I like pirate and apple brandy but that's about it. Keep your darkness imo

Thanks for the responses all. I've seen some noirs posted in pron in here and it got me interested. I've kinda heard that they may be a bit overrated but curious to see for myself and tick some new brews. Only prairie I've had is bomb and pirate bomb. AB noir and vanilla sound especially interesting, but I did see on here that vanilla had infection issues in an older batch. Coffee is a thing too?
