Question(s): For all that have used the french press method of infusing stouts:
1.) How much coffee do you use (assuming you use the whole bean)?
2.) How long does the stout and the coffee need to sit or steep in the french press before serving?

I ended up getting a bag of the BCS coffee from Intelligentsia and am attempting to turn my regular into coffee. Thanks.

We did whole bean, probably 1/2 cup for 8oz, fridge for about an 1.5hr.. could proabbly use less coffee for a longer period though.

 

Not that many people were interested in the bowl confidence pool so joined the one Brad is running (cfh64) in case anyone wants to join me over there.

Don't worry were stuck together, and yes you should open that growler. But NJ sarcasm holds no loyalty or should I say in NJ we show our loyalty through sarcasm. As I tell my team members, if I don't talk to you or about you, your about to be fired.

I'm still confused on who can and can't guess (I think I misinterpreted your original rules), but I will guess 437 ounces

 

I just wanted each Local to only be able to guess one time. Otherwise the most active Local, though he's been MIA, could, in theory guess for the peanut gallery every time. As you haven't guessed yet, yours is locked in for the peanut gallery.

You bet I can. Wasn't sure if I was going to 'screw the pooch' by showing what I received or not. Apparently Andrew felt the need to screw me, with the stache and all, who can blame him!
