Buying/Selling empties

Anyone who is disappointed in receiving an empty bottle after purchasing an empty bottle is deserving of the disappointment imo.

 

I imagine you could private message the seller on Ebay before making a purchase. Not sure if they monitor such messages for rule breaking behavior

 

I did get to looking and found a empty bourbon county barrel on ebay, that's pretty cool!

If someone is spending $300 on a bottle that is advertised as empty then they are getting what they deserve. Lol. At the very least you would be crazy not to send the seller a private message and make sure you know exactly what you are purchasing

 

It's a good thing you don't live in earthquake country!

 

They also sell used socks on eBay and people by them. (Don't believe me? Go to the website and type it in.)

 

I always thought that people would buy them for falsely acclaimed pictures saying they had it, but it's really a picture of regular stout with whale next to it.

On a similar note, I save my bottle caps and sell them on ebay. Lay out 3 or 4 dozen, take a picture, get $5. I consider it a rebate on my beer purchases. People make jewelry and fishing lures out of them.

I think it is safe to assume that EVERY site monitors personal messages......

I bought full bottles of beer on Ebay before the ban . The whole reason beer sales were banned is due to a setup scam of someone underage buying a bottle of vodka on ebay and taking delivery.

I have bought collectible bottles and glassware too ..
Had 2 Russian River TION tulips and the Barrel stem that I purchased off ebay when 95 % of the members here were still wetting their bed !
