12 Days of XMAS BIF

Braxton just released Dark Charge, Barrel-Aged Dark Charge, Barrel-Aged Dark Charge w/ Vanilla, and Barrel-Aged Dark Charge w/ Coffee last weekend. It was a really fun release party, and I thought the base beer and all the variants were pretty delicious. @UcDru can also weigh in on the beer.

 

I stopped by Braxton as well for the bottles but didn't get to try any of them yet. They're one of the cooler-looking bottles I've seen in a while. Do you recommend drinking now or waiting?

 

I'll be honest, I've got no clue who my sender is. I guess their hints aren't as good as mine.

 

None of them were "hot" or boozy, in my opinion. Oddly enough, the one that might need some time was the base beer. It definitely seems like they brewed it with the intent to barrel-age it. It was very robust with lots of roast. A little time ought to smooth that out. That said, I enjoyed all of them on tap in their current conditions.

 

Sorry Larry anyone using @UcDru to vouch for beer fails the sniff test. At least after he openly mocked my Stache! LYMIDrew.

Ran this through my filter and it comes back no one has clues worse than you. Well maybe Mipper, Ajay, Pogs, etc.

I am getting nervous as it gets closer to receiving my box. Some of these hints / poundage / pictures of boxes. Yet, I am getting so excited to drink all these beers, in fact I've been practicing by having a beer each night this month, leading up to this fun event!

 

I will say you're lucky my folks aren't stopping by my place before heading south Larry. However I may just bring them a metric shit ton of beer to take down to Florida with them so it's waiting when I get there...
