    It's really strange how distro works that is a shelf beer here and somewhat of a novelty item out there. Can you send some lost abbey out this way now?

    I'm in Central California and Founders slowly worked it's way in about 2 months ago. The distributor for my immediate area took a little longer to fill out their paperwork or something so for a while I was kinda teased seeing the stuff an hour both north and south of me. I'm stoked it's here though, the Porter is fantastic. Cheers!

    I've heard a lot of good things about this one lately and it did not disappoint at all. What an excellent beer. Anyone would like this, but especially those who find other bourbon barrel aged stouts to be a little too strong. This one goes down nice and easy.

    Morning BA's This morning went with the simple malt Imperial Stout from Brasseurs Illimites in st-Eustache QC. On the nose you get Cocoa, strong black coffee and some rummy booziness. The taste is more complex, you get the Cocoa and Coffee followed by raisins and plum, some rummyness again and some nuts. Cheers![​IMG]
