Even though I got shut out I am glad it was this way. Much better getting booted from the computer than standing in line all day.
I will swing by in the afternoon to see if anything left. If not, there is always next year.

 

This is a good call to keep checking, some credit card fund verifications fail. Felt like the old ticketmaster days and the site never crashed so I'd say BPTs servers are just fine for this type of event. If you want to see large scale interest max a server trying to do self ticketing look at Pearl Jam.

 

So what Is available to the line on day of sales.................

All of you people bitching had the same opportunity to get bottles as everyone else. Muling lol? You think people got lucky like that with them selling out in 5 seconds. We live in the most populous part of the country and them selling sets of 8 probably puts the total people that were able to buy them at 500.

I got zero sets. I was on 5 servers trying to score. And It sucks. But its just beer.

 

People ripping on kane for this really need to get over it. It's no way to respond cus you didn't get any.
I got shut out constant refreshing from 11:58 on phone and computer and got shut out. I'm upset but not about to go and blame the brewery that I go to every weekend for it

It exists. It happened in October. Called an Anniversary celebration. Great beer on tap and plenty of friends running around.

Years of being a hippie has paid off finally!

 

I'm surprised that so many people got shut out and that it sold out so quickly. I finished my transaction in under three minutes and there was no lag time with page loading. I've used BPT for AleSmith releases and it always goes very slowly. I've been checking to see if anything becomes available as carts expire but nothing is popping up yet. I'm thinking that they either didn't have all that many sets available or that everyone jumped on at the same time and grabbed the eight pack.

 

Not a complaint, but if your full line up sells in under 10 seconds, perhaps the limit should have been 1 per...

 

I wonder if the people complaining about how quick the sell out took think the BPT handles one transaction at a time? Limited amount of sets, which you can buy two of, means it only take 250-300 people for a sell out.

But it's still funny to sit back and watch everyone complain and blame Kane.

 

How anyone can say this online system is the best I have no idea. This was essentially a lottery of luck. Either do a full on raffle which this practically is (except you can bend the rules by having everyone you know do it with you) or do a line at the brewery.

 

This is a good point. By having an account ahead of time I only needed to paste in my CC info. Was probably in and out in <15 seconds.

 

Why don't you bring your bitching over to their facebook wall. We don't really want to hear about it here. This certainly seemed to have been the fairest way to do this. Not sure what else Kane could have done. Maybe next year they'll make a @cck5 variant just for you. Then you'll be happy.

 

How is this the fairest way to do this? Guess I'll have to read up on writing scripts or codes or whatever to get into these just like people do with tickets.
