Sorry, slow day at work, figured I would browse a little bit. I was unsure if you guys were taking new posters or not though. Maybe I'll stick around.
If it helps I have more details than anybody cares to know about resolute day.

 

So... my area didn't get any bourbon county variants. Given that BCBBW might possibly be my favorite non-whale but also not easily accessible beer, I reached out when some locals offered variants to people that got shut out. @dwmetsfan13 and I talked very briefly and decided he'd send me 2 BCBBW and "fill up the rest of a shipper, then you fill it up with whatever and send it back". Seemed simple enough. I'm gonna be working for a while to repay this box. It appears our friend Dan can't count, and also seems unsure what a "shipper" is... sorry in advance for the image spam as my kitchen table isn't cleared off and I don't have much space downstairs to set up a good family photo...



The "agreed upon" beers. 2 '15 BCBBW. Will be opening a vert of 13-15 fairly soon.

Westbrook gose is something I can never get enough of despite still having a sixer of it in my fridge I've had forever. I have some friends that love this beer and hoping to have a few of them over to finish off what I have, a few cans each. Alter Ego, a new tree house tick, and a bottle of what seems to be homebrew.



Melcher street and DDH Fort Point?!?!?! Love the few things I've had from trillium. Was SLIGHTLY bummed when my buddy intended to bring me 4 bottles from them but one of the two hoppy beers got commandeered by his mom and I sent the other one in 6DoT, so this is karma catching up to me I guess



FEAR AND TREMBLING? Sounds absolutely amazing, I've quite enjoyed the few smoked beers I've had, but I'm willing to bet this will blow those out of the water being HF. Also an Arthur for good measure.

Unfortunately there was one fallen soldier, a tree house Julius that had maybe 5oz left in it by the time it got here, and soaked the bottom beers, but fortunately this box was a fortress and I couldn't even tell there was a fallen soldier until I had already taken like 5 beers out of the box.

Thanks so much for this box Dan. Payback will likely not be swift, but hoping it will be adequate. Hoping some local breweries release some stuff sooner rather than later so I can send a great box that isn't nothing but PB crowlers (though many people would probably be fine with a box like that...)

I was filling up a 6 shipper at first but ended up having to use that on a snake pit trade I had to make. The homebrew is a saison "Hootybowl". Was the Julius just smashed or did it somehow leak out of the can? No rush on retribution, and if you just send me tasty new ticks I'll be happy.

 

It somehow leaked out of the can. It was a little dented at the bottom but I couldn't really find any puncture or anything. It was honestly bizarre. Fortunately I've had the beer before so it's not a huge loss! And even had I not had it, the rest of the box is just absolutely insane anyway

 

Alright good to know anyway. Just when I start to wonder if my packing is overkill. Hope you enjoy it all brotha!

 

#VBS! This has been a huge want of mine for a while considering BBA barleywines are probably one of my favorite styles (kinda odd since I've not much enjoyed many non-BBA barleywines) and I saw this one being thrown around a lot. Was originally saving it to share with some friends, but you locals decided I was soloing it tonight. This is a fantastic beer. Tons of bourbon on the nose the second I opened the bottle, yet the first sips I took are very mellow, with just a perfect amount of booziness. Very flavorful beer.

 

Well it looks like @Kylo76 really wants to make sure my stash of Vanilla Rye never runs dry

speaking of @dwmetsfan13 - my LIF box landed today from him. dan is quite a generous BA. thank you so much. almost everything is a new tick and if its not, I had a few ounces at a share. let alone the fact that they are all world class beers.

first off. his packing is out of control. that fallen soldier was not because of you. I can guarantee it.

I had julius and bear at a share a few weeks ago. a fellow member of the newbie BIF @Greeny87 hosted it. only had a few ounces of julius and a splash of bear. cant wait to get into these.
Haze and Alter Ego!! both huge wants. those 2 went right into the fridge. and I am drinking the Alter Ego now.

Had a sip of sprang at that same share and loved it. reminds me of carton's boat- which I drink regularly.

i have had one bottle of trillium to myself before- and now I have 3. I cant wait to get into these over the next few days. what a ridiculous box for winning a LIF. I need to get my beer karma back on the positive.

I didnt win get an ANTEAD ticket in the 3 seconds it was on sale for, but probably going to line up sunday. If I can get a couple bottles, there will be a LIF for that coming up soon.
