Tree House Alter Ego from the box Dan sent! Was gonna call it a night after my lightweight ass solo'd a bottle of omega point but decided "shit, I'm off work tomorrow and I haven't stayed up late just playing video games and drinking beers in a while", so decided to open this one also. Great IPA. Very easy drinker after a 10% bomber of BBA barleywine.

 

I still have half a case or so, so I'm sure the one with your name on it will be there. I think I bought a total of 3.5 cases and drank either 1 or 2 myself, the rest have been sent out. I love sending that beer and hate that it'll never be made again.

 

Awesome box landed today from @core42 - a thank you box for a #pickitupbro and the 6doh box I sent him. I got home late from my work Christmas party and unwrapped this monster...

All new ticks for me, and there's a good chance these are all consumed in a side by side with friends, possibly as soon as the weekend.

Only the 30th and Bomb! are repeats, and the are always welcome! The Hipster sounds amazing, as does the Cabra. Can't wait to try them all!

Oh, did I forget to mention the Hunter Orange!??! One more to add to my Hunter horizontal, as several locals have already provided the Vanilla, Coconut, and Coffee. Reaaalllyy looking forward to trying all these.

Yeah, it's a damn good beer. Actually reminds me a bit of Troegs BBA Flying Mouflan which IMO is a very good BBA barleywine that I don't hear much about. Nice boozy notes but not overly harsh and a nice complex flavor.

Also... just confirmed that I'll be doing a '13-'15 BCBS vert on Saturday along with some other random beers. Never had a '13 and I have two bottles (I'm providing the '13 and '14) and I've read how well it's drinking, so excited to crack one open. At least one trillium bottle will probably be cracked that night as well. Sometimes I feel like when I go to my one buddies place I'm providing all the good beer, but it's always in good company and him/his girlfriend usually make dinner so it's always well worth busting things out my cellar to share with them, especially since they aren't BA users so they don't see much out of distro stuff but really enjoy good beer

 

There are enough people fucking with me in the 12 DoX I'm not falling for it. You sent me three beers in a very well drawn out box and didn't get proper credit, until now that is!

Well I know some of you hate FedEx, namely @whyteboy003 but I can't hate them after today. My box which had a broken bottle, made an awkward trip was returned with this notice:


Damaged, contents inspected. Damaged contents discarded. The balance is enclosed. They even re-wrapped each bottle in its own padded envelope. That's classy!



Sadly, @treznor, the Resolute broke it was my 10th and final Resolute to be shared within the group. I'll see if I can add a bottle I may get this Sunday and get it back out early this week. Really sorry bud.

Its just beer, no worries. Was looking forward to trying Resolute since I've never had it and its a favorite style, but I'm sure, just like always, I'll enjoy whatever you're sending!
