Let me know how it is. I got a keg and need to know if I should tell anyone about it or just keep it to myself.

I have, and I agree with most of the mixed reviews in that it wasn't entirely what I expected. Definitely not a bad beer, but I got more of an oakey, earthy flavor profile than the acidic or tartness a lot of us seem to be used to in a sour. Going to sit on my other bottle for at least a year.

Thanks! Thinking about splitting a bottle with a few friends because of the price point and unknown factor.

Did you try the special releases from Actual?

Highly recommend splitting it with some friends, pretty sure I couldn't have finished that myself. Even recommends splitting it in their description on their website. Tenacity on the other hand was superb, exactly what I was wanting in a sour. Didn't try the brett stout, but BA Fat Julian was also great.

Rozi's also had Hawaiian on tap... Grabbed a glass of it today, incredible beer! Colder I got more coconut and coffee and as it warmed the vanilla start coming through a bit more. Velvety, rich mouthfeel. Sweet, but not overly so. I was very impressed with it!

Had Plead the 5th alongside it, it was interesting to compare them... This was far more roasty and bitter, almost like when I chew on the roasted barley and other black malts when I brew at home. Thinner body. I actually liked them side by side, going between the sweet velvety Speedway and the more intense roast character of the Plead the 5th. Both great beers.

Citra Mandala by Jackie-O's though... Omg... May be one of my new favorite IPA's. They need to bottle that stuff!

Some amazing beers at Rozi's right now! Was really nice sitting on that patio with the killer weather we had today.

Glad this was finally mentioned. My bro and I went to the Actual sour event and tried all the stuff except the sour Julian (out when we arrived). I thought Tenacity was a really good attempt at what I believe is their first "wild" ale. Hoping to sit on the bottle I have for a while to see if it gets any more sour. Heard the sour Julian was really good too. Surprised nobody mentioned this until now, considering the high demand I recall hearing over the last few years for more local wild ales.

I'm still waiting for local wild ales. Everything I've heard about recently has been accidental. Plus the price point is just nuts. I'm not dropping $22 on a 750 of some local "decent" sour when I can get a 750 of lambic for $18.

Haven't heard about them before, and being from Gahanna this has me excited. Any idea when their beers will be available to try? From the little info I could find it seems like they are still in the early stages of everything.

Yeah I'd love to know more. The article I found from October mentioned a taproom opening December/January but didn't give any info on the actual business past a arch rendering and a location. The brewery doesn't seem to have so much as a Facebook page...

Found this job listing that gives a little more insight:

Looks like they've got an email with a kindredales.com address but the webpage is currently blank.
