Hunahpu Day 2016

I just booked a place on Airbnb for less than $100 that is 5 min from event. Looking forward to attending and getting 12 bottles of Hunahpu.

 

Last year the name and ID matching rule went for all attendees. I doubt they'd only do it for Catadors this year. Was one of the most important elements of the success of last year's event, IMO.

 

I can't believe they would ever allow the tickets to reach the secondary market. This is now a public event. A prime tourist attraction. Gotta be smooth.

 

Definitely planning on being there this year. Anyone wants to pre-trade their extra hunas they wouldn't otherwise buy drop me a message and we can do an IP that day. It's going to be a bigger event with more beer so I think the only people who are going to be hurt by this are the whale chasers. More of the Ahabs will be in the same lines leaving even more beer for the rest of us!

FL Beer News says the bottle pick up will be off site at the Marriott. If true, I wonder how that will work, since glass is not allowed in the park. I guess that will be the last thing you do.

Do they inform of the ticket release time and day well in advance? So I know when to hop on my computer? Missing out on this would really put a dent in my spring break plans

Tickets are not currently on sale. The date for ticket sales will be announced soon via our social media channels and on this website.

 

We can assume they won't go on sale until after the Catador Club on sale is over, which ends on Dec 22.

 

They will announce in advance and I'm sure it will get posted here when general tix go on sale. I haven't heard how many tix they are selling this year though, it wasn't in the el cat email. Anyone know total # of tix, regardless of the tiers, just interested if it's going to be bigger than last year and therefore expecting some longer lines at some of the more sought after beers

 

Awesome thanks for the info guys! I'll keep my eyes peeled on their social media accounts, as well as here. Really excited for this. If the draft list is anything like it was last year it's going to be an absolute blast!

 

Talked to someone yesterday from a Brewery that was a Participant at HD 2015 and that will be there pouring again this year and they said this years event is going to be much bigger....just for example last year there were around 60 Breweries pouring this year there is currently confirmed over 160 Breweries that will be there...HD 2016 is going to be huge

 

what was last year's total attendance?

 

I believe it was capped at 2000, although I'm sure there was some overage for friends and family. It felt like the perfect amount of people for the space.

 

Looking for clarification. Rules suggest that I can cancel within 7 days of purchase. If I get tickets and none of my friends do I'll get a full refund as long as I cancel within 7 days?

Am I the only who finds Hunahpu to be grossly overrated?

 

I love it, so please don't go. I'll take all the luck I can get to get a ticket... One less person.
