Can't have a fellow Texan drinking a BCBS by himself on Sunday for lunch. I'll throw my hat in the ring for this one!
Non round 2 BIF related question Any of our FL folks have good access to Cycle? I've got a share next weekend and my buddies have been clamoring for some of their beers, plus I feel like I need to bring something special since one of the guys is bringing a prop 15 for us to try.
Anybody still have regular left in their area? My local TW has like 4 cases left but they placed it in a weird locale in the store. 9.99 a bottle. No one seems to be touching it. Eventually I'll buy some but was just curious about everyone else's situation.
I would love to help out but I'm not sure I can swing a trip anytime soon. They don't distro outside of kegs and what is sent out is scare. Also, they are two hours away and only open at 3:00 on weekdays. My wife is pretty flexible about the hobby but taking time on a weeks to drive 4 hours to buy beer is grounds to start an argument.
What exactly are you looking for? Crowlers of their ipa's are cheap and easy to get from the source. You could probably do an easy ISO in the viper pit.
I really enjoyed their IPAs that I've had (crank and Home Alone 2), but I'm thinking stouts, which seem to go for crazy things whenever there is a new one out (see: DBR)
It has come and gone here in NH the only ones I got I brought back from Florida while I was there at Thanksgiving and I paid a lot more than $9.99 for what I bought but was happy just to get what I got.
There is much gnashing of teeth in the South Florida region over the Cycle stout releases. Always secret, only an instagram post roughly 2-3 hours ahead of time and they sell out in about an hour and a half.
Yikes. Well, if anyone of you know a good BA from that area, we should get him in on the next round ha!
Lol. I've got enough and I'm guessing that my store will still have their supply a few months from now. I just find it odd they put it where a lot of people don't see it, which is why it seems to be selling so slowly.
Sure do... I am surprised that hasn't been repealed yet. I am biased but think about what some of our brewers would do if they can put out some jacked-up, >12% brew (Jackie O's, Hoppin' Frog, Fat Heads, GL, MadTree, Rhinegeist, Hoof Hearted, Maumee, etc.). Maybe I need to do some political pushing on this eh?! I'm in for a VBS share for sure!
