Last year was my first time goin to this and was totally new to the craft scene...the real one anyways. Since then there have been pretty awesome shares at the events at Stone. Does that happen at the anniversaries as well or are there different rules since it's not at Stone.

If so, who's gonna be there and are you bringing anything fun? I'll be at Stone Friday night for the Brewers Reception. Wondering if a share will take off there as well? That many head brewers in one place, I'm thinking its bound to happen.

    (Paging Dr. Bill)

Definitely no bottle shares on Saturday if you're doing that as well.

This event, because it takes place at CSU, San Marcos, does not allow you to bring/open outside bottles. Leave them at home this day! Cheers, and have a great time.

You'll find me in Steve's Cigar Lounge on Friday (at least for a little while)!
    Cheers, Bill

Dr. Bill Can those of us with the All Access/Rare Beer passes expect a beer list before Saturday?

Did anybody manage to grab a copy of the PDF map before the server shit itself? (The now-broken URL is: http://stonebrewing.com/anniv/16thBeerList_Map2.pdf) I figure I'm not the only one who'd like the take a look at it before heading out tomorrow...

[edit]: Ah, found the issue... their name server is set up to differentiate between www and no www (what is this, 1994?), so http://www.stonebrew.com/anniv/16thBeerList_Map.pdf works but http://stonebrew.com/anniv/16thBeerList_Map.pdf doesn't.

tl;dr: Click here to download the PDF.

Any generous BA going tomorrow have a rare beer pass? Wanted to get 2 bottles of the Kona Coffee Mac Coco Porter. Be glad to fully compensate you. Sure we can work something out

Anyone else find the special keg of Stone 2006 BA IRS in the cigar lounge? Got myself two pours of that. Definitely the beer of the festival for me.

Some interesting stuff in the rare beer section.

The entire event seemed much less crowded this year. Sessions A and B (unfortunately) not being sold out helped, but I think the layout played a big part.
