Lil Sumpin Wild in TX yet?

Was at specs yesterday and Lindsey said next week. "The shipment hit Austin earlier this week and we are next". I just hope Houston gets quite a bit of it

 

Gabriel's in SA got two cases yesterday, and it's going fast.

 

Is there a limited supply this year? I don't recall it "going fast" last year.

 

I wasn't in the business (or the country, for that matter) when it was released last year, so I can't compare this year's demand to last year's. I know that a lot of the people who tried it last year have been foaming at the mouth for this year's release. I also know that there's always a very high demand for Lil Sumpin Sumpin in the SA/Austin market. Not sure if the same is true in Houston.

Gabriel's sold a case and a half of Sumpin Wild yesterday, and the two remaining sixers will probably disappear today.There may be more coming in the next few weeks, but my BEK rep won't know about it until it shows up in their warehouse. Lagunitas (in general) is a tough brand for retailers to get decent quantities of because it vanishes within a few days after BEK gets it in. As I said, demand for Lagunitas is pretty insane out here, and the supply could definitely be better.

 

Someone lemme know if they spot this in Austin.

Ps: I thought this was bomber-only this year?

 

Craft beer boom. People are hoarding anything they perceive as rare.

I've never seen this beer in a six pack before. Only bomber and on tap.

 

Any sightings around DFW yet? I asked at Total Wine & More Dallas and Spec's Dallas yesterday, but both places said that they hadn't heard anything about getting a shipment yet.

 

Last year 6-packs were easier to get than bombers, IMHO.

 

Weird, I've only seen Sumpin' Sumpin' in 6 packs.

 

I could have sworn when i was at arbor walk talking to the beer dept, he mentioned having sumpin wild. Might want to call first.

that was on friday.

 

El Paso will be receiving our shipment this friday in both six packs and bombers. Just not sure how much though. Can't wait though, I love that stuff.

I had a glass of it at Bangers on Sunday night. Interesting place. Definitely not your average beer bar.

Ps on my update that wasnt really an update, i JUST noticed that the case they gave me to bring out my other bottles was a case for this beer. (specs arbor walk) So im sure they at least HAD it last friday.

 

Gabriel's SATX got 5 more cases of Sumpin' Wild today.

 

Nothing in Dallas as of yet at the local spots I checked.
