    Colts season long LIF

    Sorry I am late posting again this week but there is still some time...

    This week the Colts will be traveling to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars in a divisional matchup. At this time on ESPN, the Jaguars are a 1 point favorite at home (sigh, smh). So, if the Colts win or if they lose by 1 point then no box will be sent out. If the Jaguars win by 2 points or more then a box will be sent out.

    This week’s contestant is @core42

    Ironically I picked this game thinking the Colts would be a big favorite & Jax would cover....I can't believe I have to trust Jax to actually win

    Just now getting a chance to get caught up on the thread and posting overdue pron. Spent all day yesterday and most of Friday helping my stepdaughter move. I'm worn out and looking forward to getting a couple hours of relaxing and watching football.

    Got home Friday from work to a box waiting for me from Nick. I took Nick up on his offer of a Resolute. I am thankful that he didn't permanently lose his bottles and was able to hook me up. Along with the Resolute he included some great looking locals that I can't wait to start digging into. In fact, I already busted open the Bean Dream and shared it with some of the guys helping with the move Friday night.

    Great box, lots of variety in styles, and a lot of new ticks. Going to be breaking into more of these during football today. Thanks for some awesome beer @PA-Michigander !

    So, last time the Steelers played the Bengals I hit @Corriecrafts with a box with all of the bottles wrapped in Steelers gift wrap. The Steelers lost, but it was a close game and we've been looking good lately. Today they see each other for the second time this season and someone decided to return fire on me with a hell of a box...

    The star.... which is chilling in the fridge right now. I'll open it to celebrate the Steelers first (of many) touchdown.

    Hu-Dey, which is I'm guessing the official beer of the Bengals. Good idea, I screwed up by not including some Iron City! Next time...

    Aside from the playful football harassment, @Corriecrafts included some incredible beers that I've been wanting to try

    Upland Malefactor - There is something about Bourbon Barrel Aged sours that excites me, can't wait to get into this one!
    Upland Blueberry Lambic - Have loved all of the Upland fruit lambics I've had, will be a great new tick.
    Jackie O's Cognac Dark Apparition - Umm... yes? This should have been a want but it wasn't since its so new.
    Jackie O's Vanilla & Coffee Dark Apparition - Excited for this one too. Have had the base beer so being able to try these variants is great
    Jackie O's Cellar Cuvee I - Do they rebrew these, or is this a 2009 bottle? Either way, sounds good
    Jackie O's Spirit Beast - Another awesome sounding Jackie O's bottle
    Rhinegeist Ink - Have seen these (or this series) make the rounds and have always wanted to try
    Hoof Hearted Everybody Wants Some 'Nelson Sauvin' - Can't go wrong with one of my favorite hops!

    Great box that I can't wait to start digging into. I wish both of our teams could win (kinda), but for now you're going to have to take the L. Thanks again!

    Glad it made it safely and you like. The Hoof Hearted was caned exactly one week ago but be careful drinking that HuDey it was canned 1,404 weeks ago #SlightlyUnderLehighFresh

    So I've had a few new ticks in the past few days, a few that were huge disappointments and only one of which really overwhelmed me. And a lot of repeats that I know I like. But the one new tick...

    Holy crap -- when I chased a bunch of these down it was more of a mob-mentality and "collecting beer to share" type of thing. I had the 2013 and 2014 versions in the past, and while I certainly liked them, I didn't necessarily consider the effort worth it. But I DID cellar one of each for future consumption in case either the flavors or my palate changed. This beer absolutely blew me away -- I nursed it for about 4 hours yesterday and really savored it. I'm sure part of it is me appreciating the style more than I did a year ago, but I also think this beer is ridiculously good.

    Two other quick comments --

    1 - anxiously awaiting a ninja box from @Dave_Treat that is arriving from Virginia via Indiana tomorrow, this might be the first delivery I've gotten from somebody older than me! pRon will probably be available tomorrow night.

    2 - I'm ba-ack....
