Mushroom Beers

    Thanks, but I've been to over 50 countries and lived in Europe for almost 20 years, I brew commercially and I think that mushroom beer is the stupidest fucking thing I've ever heard.

    Edit - I tried the Snorkel at Jester King, and there was a lot going on in that one, the shrooms were subtle.

    I drank a delicious mushroom beer in New Zealand, "Nerissimo" a Truffle and Porcini Porter, made by Garage Project, Wellington, NZ. First beer ever where I tasted umami. I drank/posted this beer on WBAYDN 1058, 9/14/15 and added it to BA database 9/19/15. Reminded me of grilled beef with fatty/earthy meat flavors. I would definitely try other such beers if I could find them in Florida!
