I totally forgot to ask! Though you are probably right. They seem to be really slacking on putting up when they get new beers, Hicksville has too.

They had it out in front on the counter so if it wasn't there they were probably all out. They only had about 8 cans left when I went on Wednesday and were doing 1/pp

I'm in town visiting from Chicago and my jaw dropped as I saw close to 20 cases of regular in Top Hops this afternoon. Haven't seen BCBS sold without limits in Chicago since 2012. I bought two bottles at 10.99 each. Also bought a Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Stout for a side-by-side. Spoiler alert: it's not a fair fight - BCBS wins by a big margin.

I'm here for two more days...if anyone knows of Regal Rye in Manhattan or Brooklyn please message me.

This years regular is so good, people should be fixated on it, not the variants. I got 4 regular at WF for $8 each! For that quality of beer it is the steal of a lifetime.

I'm gonna echo everyone else's sentiments. Having had all variants besides Prop and Rare, Regular is the clear winner for me. Better than it's ever been. Glad I stocked up.

I agree, regular and coffee were outstanding this year. Bw is alright but for some reason I find the 2013 batch to be the best. Regal was a let down.

Which ones? Im in mid town (near Roc Center) and havent seen any. I think the only one that had it listed on BM was on Wall St.

The one in Grand Central had some a few weeks ago. Depending where you are exactly, might be easier to check Whole Foods Columbus Circle, which still had quite a few cases on the floor as of last Saturday.

I mean, it depends how curious you are. I had a 32oz growler over the weekend, split over 2 days, and that was way more than enough for me. It was good, and the addition of sea salt was interesting and helped cut some of the fruit sweetness, but I think the regular blows it out of the water.

Thanks for the info. I'm curious w/ the sea salt addition, but the fruit sweetness has me thrown off a bit.

IDK if people have short memories, but I would sit on your bottle. Every year there has been a fruited variant going back to at least 2011, people have said it's not that great right when its released. But then a year or two later, they turn outstanding and everyone is clamoring for them.

I don't know exactly what it is, but it seems the flavors need a little more time to meld together and some of the fruit sweetness subsides.

When Cherry Rye was first released, I remember thinking it was too sweet, and cough syrupy, and then had it on tap 2 years later and it was one of the best beers I've ever had.

Ditto to Backyard from 2013, needed a full year to hit its potential and is still drinking fantastic right now 2 years later.

100% agree with @Bferber you should sit on it, only difference i have Backyard was probably the one that was good from day 1. The fruited variants always develop quite nicely over the years (unless ur drinking the medicinal cherry rye now). If you haven't tried it, I would definitely not trade it away.

I had 4 VR when it first dropped and I tried it on tap, and thought this isn't anywhere near OG vanilla, and traded it. But about 6-8 months later, the beer turned into something completely different and I regretted that big time.

I would sit on it, I'm sure it will be on tap somewhere so you can try it now fresh.

Anyone know of a place to grab some coffee? Even if it's on tap? Gonna be in the NJ/NY area for a few days and I've completely struck out on it so far. Or if anyone can trade I brought a nice goodie bag of TH cans
