I must agree with the inclusion of Burning River in this topic. Its one of the first beers that taught me to appreciate hops.

Row 2 / Hill 56 is my favorite. Followed by in no specific order:
    Lagunitas New Dogtown
    Drake's 1500
    Zombie Dust
    Alpha King

I really liked Goose Island Green Line Pale Ale. Had it on tap and thought it was amazing!

Brought home a growler of Port Brewing's Summer Pale Ale tonight and this stuff is one of the best APAs I've ever had. Tons of whole leaf hop flavor.

Zombie Dust and Alpha King are also phenomenal. For APAs readily available around here, fresh Smuttynose Shoals and Lagunitas New DogTown are very tasty.

The OP was asking for hoppy pale ales, Perpetual is an Imperial Pale Ale, not an India Pale Ale. It's probably the acronym we're not connecting on?

Well, shows just how clueless I am. When I bought some Perpetual, I read the label & it said "IPA." So, I'm thinking "IPA" not "IPA." Silly me.

Don't apologize, I did the exact same thing when it first came out, Troegs is messing with us, it's a great label. I had the last Perpetual in my fridge yesterday, freakin' awesome! :stuck_out_tongue:

    1500 from Drakes is fantasic.

The Untouchables Pale Ale from Speakeasy Ales & Lagers is pretty freaking nice, and their Dolores Pale Ale was amazing last year. Both of these two beers are, unfortunately, not readily available...

Lagunitas Dogtown Pale Ale is worth a try too!

    Cheers.

    Mike
