now defunct Panther Brewing Co's Three Stooges Beer. It was a 20+ year old lager.

Sadly the Crooked Tree I just opened. I had a massive bottle share for my thirtieth birthday about a week ago and someone brought a sixer of Crooked Tree and only one was consumed. After the party I tossed the rest in the fridge thinking I had scored a little extra only to find out tonight that they are old as dirt. Just malty, gross water. Damn!

Saranac Bourbon Barrel aged Scotch Ale. Not enough of anything to make it worth it.

    Oddside Mayan Mocha Stout.

I'm kind of sad about this one. It's older, we got it in at out store about four to five months ago. So I figured I would branch out and try something different.. This f*%#er was WEIRD. In a good way. But once it warmed up a bit it became flat, and with that I just couldn't take the room temperature spicey/roasty stout taste. It had to go! Perhaps a freshie would taste better? Idk. I've never had a beer go from first to worst quite like this.

I like a spicy stout, but this one doesn't do it for me. Too thin. This makes me realize I have one sitting in the basement. I had it at the brewery in July, and then didn't really like it. I stopped trading, or I would throw it in as an extra.

Shipyard...the last 6 beers I've had from them. I don't know why but I can't stand their beer.

I had two drain pours from the same Brewery! Chameleon Brewing's Ryediculous and Witty. Just couldn't stomach to drink their beer.

Pouring out a beer is a painful experience. Like putting down a loved one after they've been bit by a zombie. It scars you, but you have no choice.

Luckily, it's been a rare act for me. Mikeller Black Hole... Southern Tier Creme Brulee... and the infamous Dogfish Head Worldwide Stout are the worst memories of beer that were either beyond the realm of what I was ready for, or just plain bad. I'm not a fan of boozy beer, though high ABV doesn't deter me, just boozy flavors (if I wanted to drink bourbon, I'd drink bourbon!).

Climbing Bines in NY is also a recent example of beer that was just plain sucky. Not just not my thing, not just bad for a style, but outright undrinkable swill. Few of those, luckily, in my memory.

Other night I opened an almost year old Almanac Tequila Barrel Noir and man, it got infected. Sucks too, cuz I tasted a fresh one, and it was great.

I Loved Magic Hat's Wacko, one of the reason's I started brewing, I'm hoping to eventually recreate it since MH killed it. In your defense, I'm the only one of my friend's who actually liked it. Must be the Dwight Shrute in me.

wife got me some craft beer of the month thing which is as nice a thing as a spouse can do(read: enable my already worrisome drinking habits) but i suspect most of the beers we get are gonna suck....its the thought that counts though

I also paid over $20 of a bottle of this and drained poured it. It smelled and tasted like sweet butter, it was really disgusting. I have yet to purchase another Cellar 3 beer from GF.

The last (2) drain pours I had were Breckenridge Vanilla Porter and Prairie Limo Tint. I had the former a few weeks after having it on Nitro and it just didn't compare. The latter I had been wanting for a good while and had seen it around and when I bit the bullet I was beyond excited. Only to go home and it taste like soy sauce. Not sure if it was infected or it hadn't been stored properly previously.
