Uncle Jacobs stout and FW heldorado. Both were very ordinary beers.

Wckd....."Make sure to avoid Founders Imperial Stout and Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout"

Ha, yes on the Goose Island Stout. Only had Founders Breakfest Stout which I loved. Never had the Porter. Used to see it all the time in KC liquior stores but never bought (weird I know).

This might be a little embarrassing, but Corona Extra. When I had just started getting into beers and didn't try or even know of many good beers, I tried Corona Extra. I was expecting it to be good because I bought it for €2.50 (around $2.75) and I was expecting it to be really good, but I was really disappointed (even if my beer standards were not so high back then), especially for its price. I really don't get why this beer is so famous and its brewery didn't go bankrupt.

Every BCS variant and regular from this year. I love sweet treats... but these aren't balanced like previous vintages. The sweetness overpowers it. I've had BCS every year since 2009. I won't be hunting them down after this.

    More for you guys, lol

    Ad nausem Sculpin.

Tried on tap, bottles and cans...from 8 days old to 5 weeks. Very ordinary. I haven't expected rainbows and unicorns and angel teardrops...just a step above widely released, year-round offerings from other breweries. That didn't happen. Factor in price and it becomes laughable, the score Sculpin has garnered.

Wholeheartedly agree with you. Doesn't hold a candle up to any of the BA beers in their program.

A local brewery Neshaminy Creek has a DIPA called The Shape Of Hops To Come. People go ape shit over it. To me it was a malty rubbing alcohol disappointment.

And Heady is a really good beer but not as amazing as I was expecting.

both of these...ill take sip over heady any day. I also feel like Shape was better the first year, but its probably just due to the fact that I had another year of great ipas under my belt.

neither can hold a candle to the 'new age' NE hops though

Anything by Maine Beer Co., but maybe I need to go to the source before writing them off completely.

Two Hearted was the biggest let down for me. Jai Alai was at one point too, but going back to it it's fantastic. Alpha King was pretty meh too. I'll also say PseudoSue and every Zombie Dust I've had since the first one. Maybe I'm getting over Citra but it seems every single-hop Citra beer just tastes like artificial fruit flavors, besides Citra Showers. That beer is fantastic in every sense.

Even More Jesus has to be one of the bigger let downs I've had.

3Floyds ZD. Fresh from bottle and from keg. It was good, don't get me wrong, but from what I've heard/read about it, was hoping for more.

Lagunitas Brown Shugga was a real disappointment,it was too sweet for my taste,so sweet I couldn't detect any hops or anything else.
