Carton Epitome

i could really go for some o'dub...anytime soon?

 

They had it at the brewery this weekend. I went on friday and they had 6 can offerings!

Sit Down Son, Boat, 077XX, Hop Pun, Epitome, and SS Yir.

 

I went on Friday also. It was crazy they had 6 canned beers. Just a few months ago its was almost impossible to score cans at the brewery.

we ran out of boat and dub this weekend but the dec run is close so hopefully it affected a minimum of people

 

Any chance Epitome and SS Yir cans last at the brewery until the 13th? Or just wishful thinking?

Either way, probably will swing by then so hope there is some Boat and Odub, at the least!

 

our hope: through limits, release days/times, pricing, availability of other beers, and so on is that all things will make it 3 weekends, or at least 2. but we are actually on the shore, even in winter, things like rain can make no one show, or everyone show. best bet is always to check our FB page TR availability is laid out there thursdays and saturdays before the sessions begin. if it is on that list we assume we have enough on hand to make it through those sessions.

 

I do not know if it is my bad timing or not, but I rarely find 077 cans in SJ anymore. Are you holding back on us "southerners"?

 

FWIW, as of yesterday they still had both.

 

Was able to get my two 4 packs of Epitome yesterday, along with some SS Yirgachaffe and Boat. Glad it lasted! Got there around 12:30 and there was a good amount of people in there. One of these times, I'll actually hang out there instead of just popping in to pick up beer.

 

Epitome cans were gone around 4:45 pm yesterday...I was in line at the bar trying to get some and saw the last two 4 packs come out and Bryan said that was it...didn't press him on, that was it as far as cans go, or just for the day. Got Boat and SS to take back to VA, but really want O'Dubs and Epitome...another buddy in NJ will be shipping me some Epitome, so all is not lost!

@augiecarton left a bottle of Brothers Brewing Resolute with Bryan, grab him and have a pour, the release was a month ago, better than last years IMO.

 

I know this is an Epitome thread but I cant find any other regular carton threads open.

Anyone else see Cartons EBF lineup. 4 beers to my knowledge that have not been released yet.

Disaster was on at the brewery a few weeks ago and it was tremendous. I can only assume that Cafe Y Churro is this years Regular Coffee variant. I can't wait for EBF. The beer list overall looks amazing so far and they have only posted about a quarter of the breweries.

 

Ahh right, I remember Orange Swisher last year, must have missed the Disaster release. Thanks for the info.

 

I don't think Disaster was "released." They poured it for the Sandy anniversary at the brewery, and its been at a few festivals (Sour'd at CL I believe).

It's an amazing beer btw.

 

I tried Disaster at the brewery late October or so and it was great.
