    Hey all -

Making the trip to Richmond from NOVA for the first time for the Hardywood ABGBS and KCM release. Wondering what everyones line experiences are -- if you did the 9/10/11am arrival, the closer to 2pm arrival or if you showed up after 4pm. Thoughts about this release (since there is 2 and limited/not hitting distribution).

    Thanks!

People will line up early, and the line will be really long by the time the release starts. Its a gamble on whether or not they will sell out. Recent releases have not sold out, and you could show up around 4 after the line and grab bottles. This release looks to be more limited though, so its going to be a riskier move.

I have showed up 2 hours after the opening for both BB GBS and Christmas Morning. I waited 10 mins and about 2 mins respectively. I will be doing the same on Saturday. They just upped the bottle limit to 6 pp per variant.

There is absolutely no need to show up before opening unless you enjoy waiting. Use your time to enjoy the other breweries / destinations in RVA and show up around 430/500 to stroll right up to grab bottles with little to no wait.

How is parking around the brewery?

Line is slow as molasses, now it's 6 each, plenty to go around

the 6 pp is great news for those coming from out of town, or those who don't want to wait all day. Count me in for the 430/5 arrivals. You'll still have to park a ways away, but it isn't too bad. May even have some BGBS and Christmas Morning left, too.

It's a pain, usually. Hardywood's small lot is blocked off for food trucks and picnic tables so all the parking is streetside, with a few small lots of other small businesses- some of which don't care if you use it on the weekends to some that actually rope off their lot.
