I had good things to say about Kane after the ticket situation. Also my B-day is December 19th.

Congrats to all the winners! Great job with the release Kane... Now I'm gonna go curl up in a corner, listen to depressing music, and rock myself to sleep... I guess there's always next year... :-(

Other than the idiots that went FB crazy, I feel this was the best handle to this situation. I was lucky and did get BPT, but if I didn't, I wasn't looking forward to leaving my house early to stand in line. If they do the same next year and I am shut out, its just how it is.

 

It's ALOT easier to say that when you weren't shut out. Congrats.

 

Maybe, but what else do you want Kane to do? I didn't get any, I'm still here. I still plan on going to Kane on Friday as I like to do once or twice month and try a new beer or two and get a growler. My not winning hasn't changed any of that.

 

well if I left my house at 4-5am and drove 1 1/2 hours and waiting how many hours in line to be shut out, I wouldn't be happy as well. This was the fairest way to do it. Just the fact that people that normally are too far to support the brewery could buy tickets to make their travel worth it, was something many of the locals didn't understand.

 

I don't think in this particular reply I said that it did. I congratulated him. In the same breath I'm getting just about as tired of the folks saying they would be fine if they got shut out as they are with our, "whining." I don't see anyone offering to trade places. Just saying.

 

Haha def great post, all the people who won saying its not a big deal. I don't wanna cry all day and be an a hole but to say I am OK with not getting would just be a lie

 

I think people are saying they'd be disappointed if they didn't win, but wouldn't let it sour them on Kane. That's where I am, disappointed but moving on.

 

Yup, dissapointed. Nothing left to do but move on.

 

Well at least I don't have to drive 2.5 hours each way this weekend.

 

What would be fair? The online sale was a lottery. It opened the sale to anyone willing to try and had expectations to drive to the brewery on the one day they would be able to pick up the product. What people didn't understand was someone in NJ had an equal try to get the tickets as someone in VA, CT, NY or NC, etc.
