Time for the next round of the CIF (Cushion It Forward)! Invite list: Obviously anyone in the Summer Newbie BIF 2015 is encouraged to participate. I'll open this up to lurkers as well. The only requirement is at least 5 trades and 100% feedback. In the spirit of the Newbie BIF anyone with less than 5 trades or with less than 100% feedback is welcome to join with a veteran sponsor. Veteran lurkers are also welcome @Mipper . I will ask that you only sign up if you are committed to keeping the #CIF going. The beer: In an effort to keep the #CIF moving along I'm going to limit the beer to a 6-8 bottle shipper with a range of 100 oz. to 152 oz. of 85+ Rated beer, or 4.1+ rAvg if there are too few scores for a rating. Beer must be from outside your target's distribution. How it works: If you want a chance at these red chair cushions all you have to do is send me a BM titled "#CIF I'm in!". Include your name, full shipping address (work or home?), phone number, email address, and your Untappd name (optional). Let me know about any shipping date restrictions and style preferences. I will close down sign ups on Friday December 18th. I will choose a BA at random and ship on within the next week. Rather than announce the recipient I will keep this info to myself. The lucky BA who is surprised by Chad's cushions will add their BA handle and location to the cushions with a permanent marker. At this point the sign ups will start over and anyone who hasn't received the #CIF box is eligible. If we get to a point where no one signs up then I become the target by default. A delayed #VBS Shared this bottle with my sister's boyfriend (wish they'd just get married, BIL is much easier to say ha) last weekend. Thanks to @Greeny87 for sending this my way! We shared a bunch of bottles during my family's early Christmas celebration, fun since we only get together 3-4 times a year. Here's the weekend long kill shot between the 2 of us.
VCS....Held off a few days for my wife to get home before opening this one up from @Homebrew. Fantastic DIPA from Tree House. I've been really impressed with the few things I've had from them so far.
I too enjoyed that from @pnelting . But the draft I had while visiting the brewery was a bit better! Fantastic Texas brew though!
Okay in this round of the CIF I'm going to include one of these which IMO may be the best BA beer to come out of NH. A Rum Barrel Aged RIS with vanilla beans. And I also might have left another bottle of Kelsen's Vinatta which you can ask @JNForsyth about. I think you all need to get in this round!
Sadly, no Miller Lite that weekend for me. Drinking Miller Lite/Michelob Golden is a sure sign I'm getting hammered, usually at a sporting event, but I just maintained a solid buzz.

The anticipation is killing me. This is my first BIF and i can't decide what I am more anxious/excited for; Hopefully coming through and pleasing my target, or getting an amazing box from my sender. Trying to explain it to my wife and the best I could come up with was a secret santa thats not limited to a small amount of money and everybody is getting what they want; amazing beer!

Witch's hat Sticker and Night Fury Teku! Awesome sticker and a wonderful start to my Teku collection Witch's Hat plastic/refillable growler with what the cap says is Rez. Cursory look says that it's a Double SMaSH IPA w/ Simcoe. Can't Wait. Witch's Hat - Train Hopper Right Brain - CEO Stout. Sounds like an awesome coffee stout and you can't see it here but the can has a long Hangman style puzzle on the side which you apparently get hints to by drinking the beer and looking inside it! Bell's - Saturn. Really nice Bourbon Barleywine that I loved when I had it before. Bell's - 30th Anniversary Stout. Can't wait to #PGW this beast. Brewery Vivant - Zaison. Imperial Saison with peppercorns sounds amazing! Enjoyed their pumpkin ale I had before Brewery Vivant - Tree Bucket. Belgian DIPA is a cool style I don't have enough examples of. Also the Tree Bucket/Trebuchet pun/name is really cool and I dig it. OddSide Ales - Mokka Munt. @brightcloud313 said this was going in and I can't wait to drink it. OddSide Ales - Hipster Brunch Stout. Coffee. Bacon. Maple. Bourbon. Fuck. Yes. Almanac - Dogpatch Sour - Love Almanac, love cherries. Cigar City - Good Gourd. It's been like 3 years since I had this beast and I can't wait to dive in. Griffin Claw - Apridisiac. SOURS WITH APRICOTS ARE MY FUCKIN FAVE. Thanks so much David, this box was amazing. Three new brewery ticks, and the couple beers I've had before I definitely had wanted to try again so I'm just as pumped for them as all the other new ticks! Kinda sad I didn't get a cool tshirt like everyone else.... JUST KIDDING THIS SHIRT IS DOPE. Green is pretty much my favorite color!
