Just bought tickets for me and a few other BAs. My first time attending. Who else will be there? Any tips for the fest?

I haven't been, but remember seeing pictures of TG going all out for it a couple years ago. I want to go this year, but would love to see some type of attending list before dropping $75?

From their last Tweet, doesn't sound like TG is going at all?

I'm very interested but I will need to see more info before I sign up. Free food is a win. I'd say I'm 75% in!

Saw that as well. I really hope this isn't the case. There'd be a lot of sad neck-beards at the fest.

From the sounds of your name, you, @Jack_Deichert, and I could have a beer mile :grinning:

I'm not new to the beer mile and would never turn down an event

I wouldn't be too shocked if TG is not at this fest. Casanova's was key to TG as the jumping off point for tapping into the Twin Cities market up until this year. Now that TG has a distributor and they can be found on shelves in the metro, I'm guessing Casanova's has probably served it's usefulness for TG.

Don't take that as a slight against Casanova's though, it's still a wonderful store!

I hope that's just speculation on your part. If not, that's an assed up move by the folks at TG. Nova moved a ton of TG product for many years, hard to believe they (TG) would do that to one of stores that supported them from the beginning.

And I concur, Casanova is a great store.

Correct, just pure speculation on my part. Isn't that what this site is for?

Just got my ticket. I asked how many they have left. The guy said about half of the tickets have been sold.

See you there! Anyone planning on spending the night in Hudson? I'm thinking of pulling a Cedar Rapids in the hotel pool. [IMG]

I stayed at the Royal Inn last year. It worked pretty well. It's cheap and less than a mile walking from casanova. I'm debating doing the same thing again this year.

TG was a honey hole for Casanovas for over a year. Was there a few weeks ago and they hadn't received any Pseudo Sue for MONTHS while Minneapolis area had received distribution at least 3 times. They seemed upset Mpls had just had another drop and got none there. They had plenty of TG beer if you wanted 2-3 month old IPAs though. I'm sure its hurt their business that TG is available in Minneapolis now. Seems odd they don't get regular deliveries anymore though. No SOSUS, Pesueo Sue bombers, Thresher, etc....

For those that have been before, what are typical beers that have been offered? What type of food offerings?

TG owes casanova nothing and vice-versa. They both made a ton of money and gained a lot in terms of popularity off of each other. Besides I'm sure this has nothing to do with hard feelings and more to do with TG being busy as they said in their twitter responses.
