New to Ohio (2015)

Speaking of keg prices....I forget if it was De Dolle or De Struisse, but one of the De's anyway, had a $500+ sixtel of a Banana/Peanut Butter (?) beer make its way to an Ohio distributor. Break even pricing worked out to ~$16 a tulip or something. Anyway...Nobody bought the keg yet. Wonder if it will ever find a home so it can be New to Ohio?

 

Any Coffee Vanilla Dark Apparition left around Cbus? I want to get a few bottles but don't feel like driving the 3 hrs round trip yet.

Website will be going live in the very near future. Please check out our Facebook page. We just shared the pics from Sprinkman of our brewing system. It will be delivered Wednesday the 16th and the install will proceed from there. We will be hitting some of the local beer events in the new year. Those will be annouced on social media of course and updated pics of the Tasting Room and Barrel House will be posted as we progress. Cheers!

I think a new round of bottles are hitting this week, or at least that is the case in Cleveland.

What's the word on the infusion a from hoppin frog the peanut butter beer anyone try it? Also anyone try the cerealism by platform?

 

I just hope that Patrick uses, brews, and bottles his Berliner Weisse. It is PHENOMENAL.

 

Cerealism was a good oatmeal stout. Didn't really get much of the sweetness or count chocula aromas, but it was solid over all.

Hoppin Frog... Well not sure how it tasted but I'm sure it was probably profitable.

I actually thought it was really good. Good enough I bought a couple bottles anyway. I liked it better than sweet baby Jesus. I'd have to have Willoughby side by side to say which I think is better, but right now I'm leaning toward hoppin frog. I think terrapin bliss or whatever it was called was still better though.

Ceralism was decent. I mean, for what it was and tried to be, it was OK. I pony'd up my $5 to help the local kids.

Btw Is brew kettle gonna release 6 packs of el lupulo? I love that beer I think is under rated for sure

 

As far as I understand it will only be available in the variety pack. Hopefully you get a least 3-4 el lupulo in the 12er
