nice and easy event, showed up at 2:00, by 2:35 i had my beers. I think it took longer to get beers from the bar then to wait online for cans/bottles

Exactly noticed that too. On tap, it was bright, herbaceous, and dank. Almost like an Other Half creation.

The can had some overly sweet homebrew issues going on. Doesn't seem like it fermented out.

Call me crazy, but it was like night and day. I wouldn't have bought any cans if it tasted like that on draft.

Huge difference from draft to can. This was not the case for Oscillation 001. Seriously WTF.

Oscillation 002 on tap to me was a 4.5/5. These cans are lucky to be a 4/5. Such a disappointment

Okay, good. I thought I was crazy for a second, but there's no way I had the same beer on tap and in can. Even the appearance was different.

I agree, on tap it was a citra bomb, in the can tastes almost like Oscillation 001.

Sadly I have experienced the same, not nearly re same aroma and does have that sweet after taste at the end. Bottom of my cans says 12/1/15, is it possible they canned in preparation for 12/6 release and had to postpone cause of BA BQE bottling issues?

I often find Other Half cans need some time to come together. Is it possible the kegs came from a batch made just a bit sooner than the cans? For comparison's sake, I just had my last 2 Simcoe cans and they were the best I'd had since picking them up.

Yeah, I'm just going to let my cans sit for a little bit. I can possibly see the beer evolving to what I had on tap.

Are bottles of BQE still available from the brewery? I ask because it popped up on beer menus.

The prices listed are odd. The BABQE was 15 bucks for a 500ml bottle and the 002 is a 16oz can. They had both the BABQE and Osc002 on tap Sunday, so it is probably just a mistake and they meant to put that info as draft instead of bottles

Picked up a four pack of Oscillation in cans last night in Midtown. Haven't tried it yet and it will be my first Finback beer ever. Looking forward to cracking on open Friday!

It almost makes me sad to hear this--don't judge Finback on their IPAs.

Don't sleep on these dudes. Out of Gamut and Trees & Leaves were both pretty darn good.

I did enjoy Out of Gamut--I guess I feel like IPAs are not Finback's strong suit--not compared to what Singlecut and Other Half are putting out anyway. Don't get me wrong, big Finback fanboy here

Tree and Leaves was a huge surprise for me, that beer was really solid.

The brewery is just not in an area that's easy for me to get to so I have to get what I can find in the wild. That being said, I completely forgot I got a growler of The Future Past earlier this year. I enjoyed that.
