Do fresh Grapefruit Sculpin cans, i.e. under 2 months old, still exist in the DC? For the last two to three months I can't find any that are under three months old. WF P Street and D'Vines regularly have been putting cans out that are over three months old. This past summer I could always find fresh cans at those locations.

On another note, does anyone else notice the scarcity of Tasmanian IPA this fall. It was always my go-to beer November-January, but it seems to be scarce and when I have found it it is already going on two months old.

TIPA seemed to drop all at once in September. There's still some on the shelf at WF Foggy Bottom, but i'm guessing its pretty old by now. Makes me sad to see hoppy beers waste away on shelves--I keep seeing Founders Harvest around and i'm sure it's a shadow of itself by now.

It does make sense, seeing as how the beer was brewed in Colorado. Sure, Stillwater is "based" in Baltimore, but most beers are brewed far away from here.

Supposed to go out across Stillwater's entire footprint. I may be wrong, but I believe they made more this time which is possibly the reason it was contracted brewed. Don't think it went to the entire footprint last time.

Dude doesn't have a brewery, it has always been contract brewed. I hope they are brewing more this time though, I missed out before.

I've seen the same everywhere I stop in MD and DC. Everyone has old stock even when they are getting new shipments. It seems like Grapefruit has caught up to the rest of the Ballast Point line where there is more inventory than demand and the old stuff is sitting around. When they first started brewing, you could count on fresh beer. Too bad, I'd buy it everytime I saw a fresh batch show up. I guess the $15+ a 6-pack catches up with them.

He doesn't own any equipment. Of Love and Regret is basically just a townhouse in Baltimore with a kitchen and two floors of dining. And I think even OLAR got a limited supply of GGW kegs.

What are the Hardywood brewery releases usually like? I may be in Richmond this Saturday and am curious if I'd have to get their around opening or whether I can walk in later in the day.
