I am getting in line early just to 1) ensure I get some and 2) because it's better for my time table. They just upped the limit from 2pp to 6pp which makes me think they made a lot more this year than in years past.

There are 2 threads in the south-atlantic forum that should be helpful, look for "Hardywood Releases" and "Hardywood Line Experiences".

Tj Springfield had a case left this morning, 1 pp

Surprised at how limited this was compared to BGBS

Truth. And it is also amazing. Food is incredible. Any Stillwater release, they are basically guaranteed to get at least a keg of (they had several kegs of GGW last year). They also have a bottle shop on the 2nd floor where they'll sell "to go" bottles of basically any beer that gets bottled.

OLAR is great. Food is always good. Always a good tap list, although a bit expensive on some items. But for the last release of GGW, I know they got 3 total cases and one guy walked out with 30 at a pop, and so they sold out the first day it was there.

If anyone is still looking there is a whole case of Hardywood BB GBS at WF in Alexandria for $12.99. They also have Perennial Abraxas on tap.

Ya and looking at the photo they posted the price tag it wasn't worth it to run over. (looked like 99.99 to me, but someone else can confirm)

I think I paid $13.99 for this year's coffee and it was not worth it at all. It was very mediocre. Not smooth at all, too bitter, charring on the finish. Just not up to bourbon county standards. If the Rare is anything like the coffee I had, it is not worth it at all.

But even at $99.99, the Rare could be resold for higher. There will be someone willing to pay more.

I have yet to try one out of the bottle, but I thought off keg it was amazing. Total coffee bomb.

Paid $79.99 for Rare at Schneider's on Black Friday. Interesting that they raised the price. Honestly, I'm happy they sold this before I could get there, as I probably would've bought another bottle and then hated myself for it later.

I've heard tales of massive bottle variation on the Coffee this year. The bottle I had was wonderful, up to the usual BCBCS standards, but several friends have mentioned numerous less-than-stellar experiences with it this year.

Xmas Morning, BGBS, and BCBS (regular only), all at WF Springfield.

    One each per customer.

Didn't notice how much was left, i as there at 6:30. They were putting them out one bottle each at a time on the cheese counter.

I got a lemon bottle. I've had many bcbcs and i know what it should taste like. Mine was off. I was sharing it with a group and it was a disappointment.

But, the bourbon gbs is on point this year. tastes like liquid heaven.
