Whole foods in TriBeCa had a case about 3 weeks back. They limited to one bottle per person.

Saw a bunch at Whole Foods UWS with no limit. I had a bottle and found it kind of bland

Maybe there is no limit now, but was a 1 bottle limit then.

I really liked this, but I'm a fan of barleywines in general.

Typically not a fan of them, but i agree that this was great. Alot of maple but not too much sweet

Agreed that it wasn't quite the burst of flavor I was expecting. Just an easy drinking barleywine.

WF Chelsea has four packs for $9.99, which is almost half what I paid elsewhere for my two singles (by volume).

Is that right? I bought a four pack at Whole Foods Union Square on Friday and it was 16.99, I think. Bizarre that one WF would sell it for so much less than another...?

I bought a 4pack this morning at WF US, and it was $18.49. The price at Chelsea must have been a mis-marked pack.

I'm going back there tomorrow, I'll let you know if I read the wrong sticker. Surprised me as well, but it did say sale price.

It smelled incredibly sweet but finished pretty dry. I really liked it.

Redacted. The 4 pack was placed above the wrong price sticker. $16.99 at WF Chelsea.

In other news, I really like this beer and bought an extra one to stash.
