    T-minus 4.5 hours until junior's Christmas break starts, wife's starts shortly after. Last time until the new year that I will probably do any early imbibing. Going with one of my favorite new beers of the year. What the hell, it's Friday in December and I can still take a picture like this barefoot.

    A great beer with a name that's the subject of many one liners. The perfect beer on a morning full of chores that included cleaning the fireplace and testing the gas igniter. It works! Havent had a need for it until yesterday and with a chance of light snow later, it will feel welcome. I'm looking forward to entertaining friends and relatives over several days next week. It makes all the preparation worthwhile.

    My band mates and I played music/partied past midnight and Mrs. Zombies and I didn't get home until after 1am, so I slept in this morning...I need some coffee...

    Good Morning, BA's. Once again, the weather has messed up my work day, but that just gives me a good excuse to open up this beauty...Westbrook's 2nd Anniversary 'Cap'n Skoon's Ballistic Stout'. This was bottled 3 years ago today and is still holding up nicely. Best part is that it isn't filled with a bunch of adjuncts. The BBA version of this is even better. Happy 5 years, Westbrook!
