I did not hear the every 6 years thing, but I was told by the Founders rep that they used the last batch of maple syrup barrels to make Project PAM. He also said that the maple syrup barrels tend to attract bugs so they end up losing a lot of the barrels they do get. I just hope CBS makes it on tap around here at some point.

Only thing I'm sad not to see is Blushing Monk - loved that one this year. BUT Rubaeus bottle and nitro all year? That about makes up for it (and will at least make my wife very happy).

Unless this is a new restriction it doesn't seem right, because they bottled CBS in 2011 and then a ton of kegs hit this year, so that's 4 years right there.

If Blushing Monk comes back next year as a backstage release, my wife might make me buy a whole damn case.

This just sits on shelves in NYC. Come to think of it, all of the backstage series has this year, other than Project PAM. Last night at the grocery store I saw bottles of Blushing Monk, Big Lushious, and Redankulous all next to each other. Not sure if they're just sending too much to NYC or what.

All I want before I die is Reds Rye in cans. They would get all my monies.
Might help stretch the shelf life of the hops too? PLEASE FOUNDERS!

Odd Sides IMO crushes Short's in offering quality along with variety. Short's may put out a bit more, but Odd Side offerings are more hit than miss.

Hell's yes to Redankulous in 4pks, that beer blew with almost every other IPA I had this year. It would be cool to see Cerise again as the TBA, or maybe a dry hopped lager?

Cerise would be amazing. I've always wanted to try that one but I was into shitty beer back when it was actually out.

I know I'm in the minority but I'd like a brown ale for the fall seasonal.

One of these years I really hope they will get around to releasing Doom again. That was the perfect beer!

This surprises me because Rubaus is in a four pack for never less than $10, and doesn't seem to sell very well. Now it is year round and apparently headed for cans.

It sold pretty well around me, not flying off the shelves, but steady. Hoping a 12 pack for $20 if they do cans

Huge understatement! Oddside does have the barrel aged stout thing going for them but Short's flat out wrecks Oddside in nearly ever way.
