Has anyone even has the dm beer yet before bottle sales?

Wow, was hoping to try my first BA DM beer and pick up a bottle after work today. Guess not. I can't believe they had no limits on bottles. With the current market going into a frenzy for bourbon BA beers, what the hell were they thinking?

Agree wholeheartedly. I left empty handed while some lucky guys were walking out with multiple cases

Some will probably pop up on the trade forums here then. I don't think it should go for coffee or regal though. Maybe 2 or 3 for 1 coffee. Let's not overhype this everyone.

I thought I missed on the Oskar Blues Death by Coconut release a couple of weeks ago but it seems some stores are saying they just got some. Is this a second drop or it is just hitting many stores this week? I had it on tap and although I hate coconuts, I really liked this beer. I'm looking for a 4 pack in the SW or west metro. Thanks.

Imagine how fast it would have gone if any real people actually knew what it was like. Things get exponentially crazier by the day.

Why are they releasing it at 1pm on a work day? Atleast give people who work a chance by doing it at 4 or 5

That's kind of a cool thing about Dangerous Man right now - no one seems to care about these bottles outside of MN. Which is good, because apparently there are enough beer nerds to buy 800+ bottles in the middle of a weekday already.

I got in line a little after 1 and spent 30 minutes in the cold to get my bottles. My cashier seemed a little bummed about the big crowds and the fact that people would be shut out - I would be surprised if they do the no limit thing again.

This has come up before - if it was released at 4 or 5 I definitely wouldn't have had a chance, for one thing. I'm not saying they should do it at 1 - just that there are multiple perspectives on the matter. I think it works well for them because they can rock through the bottle sales, then open the tap room and get about their normal business.

800/12 is 66 people, I'd imagine the first 25 people in line at least got a case, with some probably multiples. I'd say this is a pretty big blunder for Dangerous Man.

Yeah and like I mentioned, I saw at least 5 people carrying out 2 12-pk cases (although there were also plenty of people sticking to just 6 as well)

I got there around 12:45, and could probably count on 1 hand the amount of people getting a full case (at least when I was there). Most everyone I was around were sticking to 2 bottles which was really cool to see. It sounds like people really got after it after 1:30
