12 Days of XMAS BIF

Ok... Apologies for iPhone pics. So my porch was sagging when I got home.

3/4 boxes were beer. 2/3 were from @SixPack6 and they weighed 57lbs


After considerable effort I unwrapped the following haul. Seventeen "days" beers (if I include dec 24th), two TG bombers, and seven misc 12oz extras. It looks like I've got my work cut out for me.


Also got some nice glassware swag. Central waters and karben 4

Who knows what's in these well wrapped Christmas treats ...

...but the extras are very nice.

Couple spotted cows (always a want!)
Ng milk stout (never had)
Expedition stout (from 2011!!! My cellar only goes back to 13!)
Moon man and coffee stout (always great)
Dark horse tres blueberry stout (never had but excited to try)
And of course these studs from TG. Mosaic madness abounds.

Hay dude (@LehighAce06 ), thought I would explain the situation here. Though I haven't met you I hear good things from other Locals and know you have stepped up multiple times to try to improve the community in general. I asked @Dave_Treat for a target who needed a porch crushing and he gave me one. Your "Hads" list is intimidating and you "Wants" list even more so though for other reasons. I am not a whale hunter kind of guy but I do know good beer when I have it and I have sent you a variety of good beers I would be happy to receive and drink. The bagged bottles are the "featured" beers and the wrapped beers are the "extras" but are themed to go along with the bagged beers. Feel free to drink any beer scheduled for a certain day and post as much pRon as possible if you enjoy the brews.
In a nut shell:
1) There are multiple beers each day. Open them all on that day and post pics followed by you drinking at least one of them.
2) There is a "Trade out day" bag. Speaks for itself. If there is a day you just aren't feeling what I have selected for you switch it out!
3) The chocolate Alligators are from a little chocolate store in the town I was born and raised. I sold chocolates through them to fund many school field trips and Boy Scout adventures. The best chocolate I have ever had, though I am probably a little bias as my homer'ism is well known.
4) There are three challenge beers and challenge beer reward. The challenge is that all three beers have to be solo domed in one day. The reward I recommend you drink in the next three weeks but it will be yours to drink when you want but you can not open until challenge completed (and post more pRon!).
In summary: Have fun! Drink Good Beer! Post tons of PRON and enjoy!

Holy crap! Fukin FedEx man... Those are some insane beers! From the sound of it I have 12 beers that did arrive safely tho, I don't think a makeup box will be necessary. I really hope fedex returns what is left of the broken box..hate those guys! Thanks so much Nick, can't wait to get started on the 12 days!

 

Well, boxes are on the truck for delivery. I don't think I'm going to give a final hint. - this will be a surprise.

So glad everything made it okay.

No set procedure for the extras. Do with them as you please. I wrapped some of them just in case you wanted to start early on your 12 days and open an extra each day until Christmas Eve. Or you can use them in place of one of the 12 days if you don't feel like drinking a big bottle(s), like on New Year's Day. Or if the 12 days beer doesn't get you to your happy place you can open an extra. Or you can open then all right now. Totally up to you.

 

Sorry, very busy week, sick kid, and wife and I had 3 parties to hit up last night. Fortunately the last one was my homebrew club and they dubbed me Homebrewer of the Year (1st time they've done this).
