If there were ever a Malt God, her name would be Rubaeus.

So if I picked up a case of Mosaic Promise 2 weeks ago, it would be several months old ? Or did Founders change the release date this year ?

Whatever the case, I am going to the 2016 Cellar Raid at Founders sometime between Jan 27 & 30 where CBS will be tapped (among others, like KBS, etc, but CBS is all that matters).

    @afterexile,

They re-released Mosaic this year(still out, just got a case last week), it was around the same time Dirty Bastard 12packs started popping up, about a month or two ago. They're in the new Founders bottles, so it is indeed NOT old (see back of bottle for bottled on date).

I would assume they've stopped bottling it tho.. At least since the seasonal decision has been made. Stock up!

Also likely they will save some CBS for KBS Week.

Yep, like last year. I havent been able to have CBS since '15 KBS week and I can't wait to revisit when I go to GR Jan 29-30. I figure I should have my #1 rated beer more than once a year...

But, for the Cellar Raid, they will have CBS tapped all 4 days... and KBS! That's awesome.

Glad to see mosaic promise back, that in cans (one can hope) would be an awesome summer beer

I know a Whole Foods here in NoVA where you can still get Double Trouble by the case. Plenty left. On sale, too. Since they're not brewing it in 2016, here's a chance to stock up if you're in the DC area!

Our Azacca should be here on Christmas Eve! Putting out a BOLO :sunglasses:

Hopefully in 2016 we'll get the "fresh" hop ale known as Harvest Ale within a couple of weeks of bottling, instead of several weeks. Chicago is not that far from Founders, after all.

Agreed. I'm even closer than Chicago, but same thing. GR and Founders seems to hit the "local" market later than the rest of the country.

Got our Azacca a day earlier than expected! Bottled on 12-13-'15! Fresh Founders is always a plus.

We also got what is probably our last shipment of breakfast stout for the year. AND THE BABY IS BACK! I'm guessing the ban was lifted? Either that or.. I didn't say anything.

Has anyone else seen Azacca? I haven't found it in Holland yet, but it'd be nice to get some really fresh bottles of this.

I really like Double Trouble too, but they seem to brew way to much of it. I buy a 4pack when it first comes out the last few years and then sadly look at it for months sitting on shelves getting dusty and old

I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. Maybe they'll make something else along the same lines they think will move faster. Cheers!

Love that Nitro Rubaeus is year round. Had my first the other day in Hudson and it absolutely blew regular away. I liked it even better than Blushing Monk and I'm now actively seeking it out.

Imperial Stout and Azacca hit NorCal yesterday. Azacca is really good, better than any other Founders IPA I've had since they started distributing here. About to crack Imperial Stout now.
