I am always amazed what threads stick around and what threads get deleted.
Hammering breweries is ok I guess

Stone 24 carrot golden ale. Love carrot cake and was so pumped for this turned out to be a drain pour I couldn't finish it

I have a new winner: Guinness Nitro IPA. Absolute drain pour. All I got on the nose was pumpernickel bread. The taste was bready, no hop presence at all. Nasty stuff. I did not review it, since it may have been improperly handled. I can't believe it could be that bad by design.

As far as "good beers" go, I'd say Scheider Aventinus (tried a fresh one and a 9-year old one). For some reason it's just not for me. That and Birra Del Borgo's Anfora. Tasted like pennies to me.

And as far as bad ones, any shitty novelty beers by no-name European companies (not breweries, just random companies). Things like Duff Beer, cannabis flavored beers, absinth beers, beers named after sports teams.

Most recently, Bruery Rue D'Floyd. Total drain pour.

    Founder's Mango Magnifico.

I cringe just thinking about it.

The one that recently springs to mind was Shock Top Honey Bourbon Cask Wheat. Harsh, artificial tasting, absolutely no redeeming qualities.

Pumking. Tasted like cardboard that someone carved a rotten pumpkin on.

As of now Faxe 10% this tasted of alcohol burn corn and grape soda, I managed to not drain pour it as I was fairly drunk when trying it... But maize and glucose come before hops in the ingredients....

Guinness' attempt at an IPA. Flashbacks to the combination of hoppy and creamy are making my stomach turn.

Weird thread...people just shitting on beers that I love. Worst beer I ever had was an infected one. I won't name names, but that's just not acceptable to me for a commercial brewer to release an infected beer.

It's a matter of taste. I know people tend to phrase it like it's an objective truth, but try to read it like, "I personally don't like this."

    Though, MB is objectively bad.

Just on this page there are 4 awesome beers mentioned in a 'Worst beer ever' thread:

    Rodenbach Grand Cru
    Schneider Aventinus
    Sip of Sunshine
    Alesmith Speedway Stout

I believe at least 3 of these are or have been in the top 250 list. But whatever, we all like different things.

This has probably been mentioned at least once, Cave Creek Chili beer. It might not have the very worst flavor I've had, but it's the hands down undisputed champion when it comes to complete pointless stupidity. Just an absurd product.

Kilikia Dark - Beer of Yereven. It is an Armenian beer and it was, granted, not very fresh when I bought it at a bodega style Russian foods store in Bethesda, MD, but it was just awful and I suspect it was not turned (which would have been an explanation, at least). Maybe someday I'll have a chance to try the beer in Armenia. Pretty unlikely, though.

    OH YEAH, I FORGOT

I though I'd purged this horror from my memory, but I'll be damned if Shock Top's Honey Bourbon Cask Wheat was pretty much 12 oz. of liquefied candle.

No, wait, a liquefied candle would be more enjoyable to drink.
