    First time with this beast. Nose is similar to other strong Bruery beers. Taste blew me away. I was a bit worried about the salt, but it elevates this beer for me. It's barely noticeable, but accentuates the malty sweetness, chocolate, and vanilla. Can't believe this is over 16%. Love it! Cheers all!

    Is that from last year? I wasn't sure if they did any this year. The only one that is as good as that to me is Avery Pumpkyn.

    Just had a few 3 Stars recently and must say the stuff I had was pretty damn solid. Just purchased first bottle I've seen of their Madness Old Ale that I quite enjoyed when I had it. Definitely on my radar, but a lot of stuff is keg only, yet. That one I am pretty sure is one of their flagships (they have a peppercorn Saison as well).

    No clue. I can't find a date on it. Maybe @warrendietrich2001 has more info. He sent me both the Avery and this and I have to say they were both pretty damn good. The Avery was probably slightly better to me.

    Might as well add a 3rd tick to the night. A Almanac and a 750 ml of Quad wasn't enough my brain says. Why take vacation if you don't over indulge and watch hockey?

    If you have no luck and really want another bottle the store I go to in SC has requested another case that may be in tomorrow, not sure where you are in NC but I travel to NC Greensboro area quite a bit where I am from to see family maybe I can get you a bottle or two.

    Pretty solid, on the simplistic side but it's an easy drinker. Bread and caramel but clean nice carbonation. Sweetness in the finish. Not too bad. But haven't had anything else from them I'll have to pick up the IPA. Was it the Barhopper?
