They have no shame. I said something they just laughed and turned away.

If I was in line with you, I woulda at least thrown mud at them with you. My wife was smart for not letting me go

Drove down there for the beautiful drive and saw the line and just couldn't do it. My wife just looked at me in the car and said one word. "Really"

Why don't you guys out the line cutters if they're members on BA... that way we can add them to our personal DNT list.

I arrived at around 3:10 and had to wait about a hour in line. The line died off at around 4:00, so you were able to walk in and get bottles. Bottles sold out about 40 minutes ago.

The reason why the line took so long is because there was only person behind the register in order to purchase bottles.

As much as I love a well made beer there is no way I would ever stand in line for hours for it. I looked at the two pictures of the line today and said exactly what your wife said. BPT or similar seems like the best way to avoid these shit shows.

    Cheers…..

One person at the checkout counter when there was 2 POS systems was kind of dumb. The person giving out bottles was just waiting there most of the time.

Wonder how long the draft will last. Don't really need a bottle, just really want to try it.

Heard the coffee version was off the hook!

What I really want to know is, does it still taste the same?

Lol, that's funny. That's exactly what I thought when pictures started getting posted of the line. We drove down and got there at 2:30p, and it was still to the taco shop. We ended up going to the pub for an hour to eat and when we came back the line had shortened to just being from the new tasting room to the old one. I think I waited around 30 minutes, which wasn't bad at all considering. I'm happy we got some now knowing it sold out.

I'm glad I skipped this one. If I drove 4-5 hours roundtrip and people are cutting in line someone is getting smacked. Best to just avoid the scenario.

Or when you post ISOs, you can specify that you want the other trader to have gotten the bottle without cutting in line or otherwise doing anything shady.

because, from experience, it becomes a shit show of hurt feelings and pulling every excuse out of one's book like "Nah man, I went with a friend and blah blah blah" or some shit like that.

Shit, the one time I did call out an infamous line cutting with their posse person it became such drama when going to future events. I had zero beef, but friends of friends started to say stuff like "Oh, you know that person talked shit" and stuff like that.

More often than not, it's less trouble to just let them choke on their midwest shelf turd trades if they're so fixated on hoarding the fuck out of bottles.

Can anyone who had the first batch ever of Good report on the alleged 17% ABV? It seems it first appeared at Pizza Port Strong Ale fest in 2004. But Great has never been posted at an ABV higher than 14% iirc. I'm curious if that % is legit or was a miscommunication.

Had another Nelson last night. It is so far away from the original if I did a blind taste test and had to guess what beer it was with a 1000 guesses I would never guess Nelson.

drank a Nelson growler last night that was filled at ABC earlier in the week. I thought was the best GF Nelson version to date.

Bought a Nelson with a best by date of 5/24/16. I really thought Green Flash was getting close with Nelson but this batch was awful, I'm done.

Over 5 months? That's seems kinda long for an IPA.
