Bruery 2015 RS/HS Allocations

I had 65 bottles and another 20 from my trustee... I barely fit the boxes in my car.

 

I am not sure how it happened, but i managed to purchase 108 bottles within this last month Black Fridays sales along with second chances sales, preservation sales, December Allocations and that 12 days of Christmas sale has created my most expensive month to date.
Now the trick is getting the Bruery to ship me any of it.

 

Jesus, 2016 will be my 1st year in Reserve and I'm not sure who's going to hate me most: my wife, my trustee, or my bank account.

I think I'm up to around 83 bottles waiting to be picked up, not counting those that the guy I split my Hoarders membership bought. I should probably take it a bit easier next year...

 

speaking of next year, gonna start up the 2016 RS/HS thread cause the first email of the year just went out...

edit - looks like one was already started, thanks to whoever gave me the heads up on that. posted the SMM info email in that thread.

 

Have they told us what's in the 2016 welcome package?

My email searching skills aren't what they once were.

Does @mattolesh take requests on putting up former allocated beers like Cinnamonk? Just opened one last night, kind of liked it. Any in the tasting room for sale? Looks like it already went through the 2nd chance sale. If anyone can direct me to some, message me.

its still up for me with alloction of 2 as a PS member (im RS + PS). Let me know if youd like some assistance locally.

 

Another question for @mattolesh - has there been an official determination as to which of the five unreleased beers will end up getting offered to 2015 members that didn't renew for 2016, and when that might be?

 

Sorry for the aside, but in case anyone is still holding onto bottles of Rue D'Floyd, I opened my last one yesterday and it was infected. I was hoping I'd be lucky enough to escape unscathed but...oh well.

 

Yeah, they said they were infected back when they released them. It's a shame, Rue D'Floyd was incredible. I popped my last one back in February, and it still tasted okay, but was definitely going downhill. Floyd D'Rue on the other hand... I still have a bottle. I'm scared what is to come of it.

 

I have a bottle in the back of the fridge too. On the bright side they had Floyd D'Rue on for the last SMM and it was tasting great. No notes of infection at all.

 

Floyd d'Rue... tasting great? Does not compute. Is my sarcasm meter broken again?

So Happens it's Tuesday

Assuming everything looks and tastes okay once they're in bottle and done conditioning, all of these releases will be put on sale to 2015 members (whether they renewed or not) in January and possibly February. I would expect 2016 members to get access to these before the public, but we won't know the plan for sure until after sales conclude.
